The Westin on 4th Ave is great..(check for cheaper rates on hotwire.com)
Hotel Arts is another great hotel. It's quite trendy and pretty close to the Saddledome.

These both don't have kitchenettes though, but great hotels otherwise.

Let me know if you're looking for info about restaurants in the area. I live about 3 minutes from where QC plays, and I frequent the bars/restaurants quite a bit.

I haven't stayed there, but the hotel that DS recommends is very close to the arena and has kitchenettes. I know that Flames players have stayed there from time to time because of the amenities, and some folks from Omaha stayed there last season and said it was quite nice.

I have stayed at Staybridge Suites (Holiday Inn chain) and there's one in Davenport, just across the river from the arena. They have fully furnished kitchenettes as well.

Also read that there's a new Residence Inn opening in Moline in December, but I don't even know if that's still on schedule!
