Gonna work on a worst list... and away we go...
Pre-60s - Plan 9 From Outer Space
- Told you it'd be here.
Best Picture - Howard The Duck
- 1986 Razzie Worst Picture Winner.
Documentary / non-fiction - Overnight
- I actually wish I took this in the actual draft. It didn't suck, but the director of Bondock Saints does... if you've seen this movie, you would understand.
Foreign (any non-US movie) - No Idea
- I don't usually watch Foreign movies. I'd take Crash (1996) as I thought it was considered a Canadian film. Maybe filmed in Canada, and directed by a Canadian. Close enough.
Action - Battlefield Earth
- Do I really need to go into this one?
Animation - Cool World
- I know it doesn't quite fit due to live action, but it sucked... hard. If I have to stick to the rules, Bebe's Kids was horrible.
Black & White - Going with Plan 9 again...
Comedy - Brain Donors
- I remember this one as a kid... I wish I didn't.
Drama - Showgirls
- Great for a kid growing up in the 90s. Horrble for a grown up who's looking for more than just boobies.
Fantasy - Earth Girls Are Easy
- Can't say I've ever seen it. Can't say I'd ever want to. Jim Carey, Damon Wayans, and Jeff Goldblum. One of these things is not like the others.
Musical - Glitter
- Oh Mariah. Did we really need to know your fake life story? Eminem's, yes. Your's, no.
Sci-Fi - Mac And Me
- Cheap ET rip off. Just horrible.
Sports - Ed
- Monkey + Baseball only equals awesome when you're the Anaheim Angel's 'Rally Monkey'!!!
Thiller/Horror - Leperchaun: In Da Hood
- Yes, they went there, twice... (see - Leperchaun: Back In Da Hood, I think it's called). Almost took Leperchaun In Space, but that's more believeable.
War - In The Army Now
- When someone made a their 'staff picks' all Paul Newman movies, back during my Blockbuster days, I made sure I made a Pauly Shore row.
Western - ?
- I don't watch Westerns... at all. Blazing Saddles was a fluke, as it's absolutely halarious.
Wildcard #1 - Spiceworld
- Could I have just mailed them my money, instead of renting and wasting my time watching this one?
Wildcard #2 - Toss up between two sequels. Lawnmower Man 2 and Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles III.
- Lawnmower Man, the original, was awesome. The sequel lacked Pierce Brosnan, and they replaced the guy who played Jobe. I think only the kid was the same actor in both. There was no need for #2.
- So, I can get behind talking turtles who know karate, which was taught by a talking rat, whom all became mutants thanks to Ooze. But once they start time traveling, I'm no longer interested.

For the sake of ending this I'll take Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back as my last wildcard pick. It's freaking gut busting hilarity. That is all, carry on.

He hasn't logged in for a long time. Maybe we should insert some of Prototype's supplementary picks into the appropriate categories?
P.S. Thanks Res, for finishing your team!

I'll do the By-The-Numbers thing too.
Average Release Year: 1991
Most Picks Released in the Same Year: 4 (1992; Aladdin, Blown Away, Point Break, White Men Can't Jump)
Average imdb.com Rating: 7.6
(Highest: 8.4, Nights of Cabiria; Lowest: 4.8, Blown Away)
Number of Picks Released in 1990s: 12/20
Recurring Actors: Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day), Tom Sizemore (Point Break, Heat)
Directors iLike Mini-Sampler:- Woody Allen (Manhattan)
- Michael Mann (Heat)
- Joel and Ethan Coen (Big Lebowski)
- Neil Labute (Your Friends and Neighbors)
- PT Anderson (Magnolia)
- Frederico Fellini (Nights of Cabiria)
- Kevin Smith (Zack and Miri)
(*note* by no effort of mine own to deliberately avoid their other work, I have only seen 1 film directed by: Godard (Breathless), Mary Harron (American Psycho), Gaspar Noe (Irrversible) and George Roy Hill (Butch Cassidy), which disqualifies these directors from this category)
Number of Bank Robbery Sequences: 3 (Heat: 1; Point Break: 2)
Award-Winners: Who cares
Number of Movies I Must Thank School for Introducing Me To: 3 (Cabiria, Butch Cassidy, Breathless)
Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon (who appears in 0 Picks) Featuring: Irreversible *In 4 Moves*- Monica Belluci also in The Matrix sequels with Hugo Weaving
- Hugo Weaving also in Lord of the Rings trilogy with Sean Astin
- Sean Astin also The Goonies with Josh Brolin
- Josh Brolin also in Hollow Man with...
KEVIN BACON
Actor Who Has Fallen The Farthest: Val Kilmer (now reduced to V.O. in a lame Knight Rider remake on TV)
Most D.U.I.'s: Mel Gibson
Hottest Lesbian: Lori Petty, Point Break If I Could Tweak My Team To Have Only Those Movies I Would Pick, Swap:- Aladdin for This Is Spinal Tap
- Butch Cassidy for Unforgiven
- hmm... no Kubrick - OK, this is one director who I admit I unfairly failed to recognize. But I knew most of his work would get selected so I wasn't worried about him not getting his due from the rest of you fine folks
Thanks for letting me play - and now, the balcony is closed.

Something I was also thinking, if people are still hot 'n' horny enough about this movie draft thing (seems like interest has waned a bit in the final rounds), perhaps an All-Star team could be put together, by voting the best movie for each category out of those chosen? Might take some work, but could be fun...?

BOOYAH! Highest and lowest. I like it!
Plan 9 got such a bad rap! However, how the heck it managed a 3.5 rating is beyond me. I gave it a 1 and anyone that gave it higher is nuts. It really is the perfect BAD movie.
Thx HD for doing this. It proves that I'm the winner at both ends of the equation!
