^Ostapchuk is an interesting name. Undrafted in the NHL last summer but is tearing it up this year and some buzz is growing with him as a guy that could be drafted in the NHL this summer in the first 3 rounds.

Actually went to sign him the other day and then realized the Nucks already had drafted him.

Yeah, he was a stab in the dark for me. I know someone who does some scouting and he mentioned his name to me, kind of as a dark horse. I think I picked him up very late in the draft too. Project picks are fun...especially if they do pan out!

Ducks have Chet Pickard, we didn't bother to check the Russian squad because... well.... we hate Russians.

Leafs have Travis Hamonic from the WHL and Dale Mitchell from the OHL. We have higher hopes for Mitchell than Hamonic. Hamonic was a 5th round pick here, actually surprised he managed to make the team.

Upon a quick glance over the rosters, I believe the only player we have is from the OHL - defenseman Tyler Cuma.
