Default West Jet 1 Day Sale

Just a heads up, Westjet is having a big sale today. I booked Cal-Van Dec 27-Jan 3, with taxes only $187. Yesterday it was 325. If your looking for a little get away, now would be the time to book.

Damn. I'm going to Kelowna on the 5th and I paid $256 return including taxes. Which reminds me I need to book a hotel.

Yeah, a couple of US locations would have been nice.

It's okay, it was a doublewhammy of unawesomeness. Not only are there no US destinations, there are blackout dates mentioned. They, just by coincidence, happen to be when I need to fly.

bahumbug.

Thanks, my parents just booked their flight to Hawaii from Edmonton

Just an FYI - Honolulu is 40$ cheaper today then it was yesterday so some US destinations might be included but not guaranteed advertising.

There's good deals on the Westjet vacation side.

Just booked a weeks vacation in Hawaii for mid January.

At $39 a ticket, do a weekend trip to Abbotsford (Saturday to Tuesday), rent a car, and drive 2 hours across the border to Seattle

sidestep.com is usually what i use to book my flights. It checks all the usual airlines and finds the cheapest flights possible

redtag.ca seems to still be finding rates miles and miles cheaper than any other site for my trip.... what's the catch, I wonder.

as a tip, even if a sale isnt advertised, doesnt mean there isnt one. I just saw Edmonton to Vegas in Dec for 119 seat sales..
your best bet is to check the website daily as prices go up and down at hourly rates sometimes.
Its only 50/pp to change a flight, so if its a substantial savings you should still call to change and get a travel credit.

redtag.ca's flights seem to be even cheaper out of toronto. Back when I lived in Toronto (~4 years ago) I did 7 nights all inclusive in Venezuela for 460 including taxes.

There are no catches...
