Maybe. The whole Syler thing confuses me.

albert - I was just thinking the same thing, RE: HRG

The eclipse, I still don't really understand.

Finally, the catalyst, I think it is Claire. The company went after Claire when she was younger, Kaito gave Claire to HRG.

10 year old Hiro is sort of annoying

As for the catalyst my guess is Peter?
I am not sure if Peters dad strips the powers though as Hiro still has his. I am kinda thinking that he can absorb them and then he makes them forget how to use them.

It seems that they need to defrag whatever hard drive they do the digital editing of the show on. You can have a show that does time travel. You can do a show that has flash backs and flash forwards. You can't do both. What a mess.

Two weeks in a row that I fell asleep watching.... I'm throwing in the towel.

That might explain why adam munroe turned to dust, he was thousands of years old and couldn't remember how to stay young.

That's actually not a bad suggestion. Maybe some time ago he absorbed someone's power who could make people forget how to use their powers.

I think with Hiro though, it was more he didnt have time. He was obviously trying to erase his memory somehow and didn't get the job done.

I think Arthur absobrbs people's "auras" like a character early on in the graphic novels...only he manages to absorb their powers and keep them alive (you can actually see something leaving Peter's body when Papa Petrelli takes his powers).

As for Hiro, I think the reason he's stuck at 10 is because Arthur was interrupted when he was doing...whatever it was. Remember that he noticed the painting of the eclipse on the rocks and left Hiro to go look at it.

ETA: I dont understand Elle & Sylar (Gabriel?) being on the "Villains" side. Seems to me that the writers have gone to pretty great lengths to show that these two are actually good people, which is further evidenced by Sylar saving Peter, and the interaction between Elle & Sylar towards the end of the episode.

I am so tired of Peter's terrible acting. Seriously, it's borderline embarrassing. Other than that and some other really bad actors and some really poor plot lines, the show's not bad this year. Better than last, at least.

I think it's Ando as well.

What makes people think Ando is the catalyst? He's just a regular human being. I'm not saying that he can't be the catalyst, but there has been absolutely no clues so far that point to it being him.

Maybe that one scene in the future where he kills Hiro with his powers

Yeah seems like a desperate attempt to bring back an element from the first season. Hiro yelling "I did it", looking at comic books.

I don't know. I feel like this show is broken and they are trying different things each week to fix it. Some of it works ok but a lot of it doesn't.

But here I sit still watching it.

i've tried to like this show, but it seems like the creators have no idea what direction they want to go in. first sylar/elle are bad, then they both go through traumatic ordeals and we're shown indepth that deep down, they're both good. then for some reason out of the blue once Elle is cured by Sylar she goes back to being bad and takes 5 seconds to convince Sylar to do that too

i've made it this far so i'm gonna watch till the end of the season, but after that i'm done. this show was a one season wonder

I am actually done with this show as of yesterday. I had three episodes saved on my PVR that I have yet to watch, and I deleted them yesterday. I am through trying to force myself to watch the utter e that the show has become.

My DVR screwed up a few of weeks ago and didn't record Heroes. I simply didn't care and when I realized that I removed it from my record list. If it's on and I have some free time I may watch it but I'm not going to follow it anymore.

They just sacked two head writers or producers or something. It's still watchable for me and with these new changes hopefully we'll see a change in the show by the end of the season. Otherwise I'll be done and I can see the show being dropped
completely.

Well, that was a waste of two episodes. "Oh man, we don't have any powers!" "Actually, the worlds longest eclipse is over, we're fine."

I dunno, i saw a point to it...it helped a few of them realize important things about themselves: Sylar, that without his powers he really isn't that special; Claire, that her father was right -- she was acting like a teenage girl who couldn't get hurt; Nathan, that the only way to stop seemingly impossible men is with special abilities, which led to his (apparent) accepting of his father's plan; Suresh, like Arthur said -- he'll have to vanquish the monster inside of him on his own, not with a cure or secret formula.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I've really enjoyed the majority of this season. Sometimes I feel that Heroes gets picked apart and overanalysed and criticised for every little inconsistency (and yes, I do realize there are also some quite large ones). Yes, season one was fantastic. Yes, season two sucked big ol' donkey balls. And to tell you the truth, I think season two being shortened really stunted the growth and development of this show, and it'll probably take a season or two to right itself.

I agree with you Flamesguy, this season while not as good as the first season has kept me interested and is still far better than many shows on tv right now. I'll keep watching it till the bitter end, once i get into a show it takes a lot for me to stop.

I also agree with you Dan02, Sylar flip flops more than a fish out of water.
