Moving to a new home with my Cat........any suggestions?

I guess I should have expected this reaction from a bunch of cat lovers.

Anyway, the issue is that the cat dander gets down through the carpet and into the underlay. You can never clean it out completely. If you are alergic to cats, you won't be able to live in a house that has had cats in it, until you replace the carpets and underlay.

Of course, if you happen to get people that aren't alergic to cats looking at your house, it isn't an issue.

Oh and one other thing - to the comment about me not understanding real estate - I've bought and sold more properties in my lifetime that I can count. So, I do understand real estate.

I emptied my Apartment and then moved my cat into my new house after we moved all the furniture. She was fine after 2 days.

Of course I had brought her home for Xmas for about a week probably 2x before, but aside from that, she never left our apartment. She is about 5 years old now.

Thanks for all the responses I'm pretty sure we'll end up setting up her favorite look out post in our new computer room (a printer table with a 1 file filing cabinet) to look out the window and leave her in there as she's a huge fan of just staying out the window

Wrap the cat in a towel when you put it in your car... incase it freaks out and pees everywhere
