The install file is corrupt?

An MSI file is like an EXE file, and if it's saying it's corrupt that's probably is, download a new install distribution. I usually download the full thing rather than the install from the Internet style download.

u got the Vista version? 32 or 64 bit? Got admin rights? Got Admin rights on the folder?

Try installing into a diff location? Try downloading another file.

WELL, I caught that, was wondering if there was something wrong with my machine or something like that.

Maybe i'll wander the Java site to find this "full version".

I'm running Vista, I should have all admin rights.

Uh-oh, 5-3, back to the game.

You're installing in your directory, so you should be fine.

I'd try a full un-install then manually delete that file it is indicating if it is still there.

Try redownloading the file , directly from sun.com. If you get the same error, you could try downloading a older version or a version of Java SDK ( which includes the JRE ).

Thanks Rathji, tried to download that file. Got the same error.

Then just downloaded the offline version, and that seemed to work. Thanks for the help CP!!

Now I finally have StatTracker back!!
