VANFLAMES: Looks like you were AK'd last round but now you're made that up.
You're up in the last round now

Solid pick.
Thanks, quite surprised and happy I'm able to grab it this late. It was in my top 5 in that category, and as the draft went along and it remained available, and others filled up their animation slots, I decided to gamble that I could get it here. Glad it worked out- the Brad Bird (also wrote The Incredibles, Ratatouille) script is awesome, and it has many parallels to E.T., which I love. Not strictly a children's movie at all, and I wanted that in my pick for this category.

Kinda sad this thing is all over for me now! A great idea, and great fun.

Okay folks, this has been a fun draft. Thanks, to our wonderful Commish...so without further ado, Team Snoogans is very happy to make as it's final selection, in the 3rd Wildcard Position:

STAR WARS Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

(I checked the best I could to make sure this wasn't picked yet so, if it has been, please let me know)

Princess Leia makes her appearance in the infamous gold bikini around the 3 minute mark.

Because of this movie, the whole time in high school that I was taking spanish, I giggled when I used the word "guapo".

For the final pick the B-List Celebs are happy to select our all time favorite guilty pleasure, Ace Ventura - Pet Detective.

He's the best there is. In fact, he's the only one there is! He's Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Ace is on the case to find the Miami Dolphins' missing mascot and quarterback Dan Marino. He goes eyeball to eyeball with a man-eating shark, stakes out the Miami Dolphins and woos and wows the ladies. Whether he's undercover, under fire or underwater, he always gets his man . . . or beast!

With our 20th and final pick, That's What She Said would like to congratulate our fellow GM's for a highly competitive and entertaining draft and of course, take a moment to thank our commissioner, GirlySports, for keeping us all on the straight & narrow.

In this final round, TWSS, selects with our final Wildcard spot, the Kenneth Branagh version of Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing made back in 1993.

With an all-star cast featuring Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton, Emma Thompson, Keanu Reeves and others - this enchanting tale of love, deception, honour and rebirth is charming and lively. Branagh's direction makes the Shakespearean language accessible so you can simply enjoy the witty dialogue and various plot-lines the play/movie offers.

Thompson and Branagh are excellent in it and you can feel the chemistry between them (mind you they were still married at the time) as they played the warring and then wooing Benedick and Beatrice. The rest of the cast clearly enjoyed their roles and frankly, Michael Keaton is a riot as Dogberry the constable.

One of my fave pieces...the set up for Benedick & Beatrice:

Gotta run, but for our 20th and final pick, team Selfmade Heroes picks Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) for our final Wildcard. (I might want to do some final shuffling afterwards though.)

I really liked the first two Pirates-movies, and since the first one is already gone it was easy to decide which one I'll take. Great escapistic fun. More on this later.

With my final wildcard pick team Yippie-Kay-Yay is happy to finish strong with Zach Braff's debut as a director, the great movie:

Garden State

Andrew Largeman (Zach Braff) shuffled through life in a lithium-induced coma until his mother's death inspired a vacation from the pills to see what might happen. A moderately successful TV actor living in Los Angeles, "Large" hasn't been home to the "Garden State" in nine years. But even with 3,000 miles between them, he's been unable to escape his domineering father Gideon (Sir Ian Holm) and the silencing effect he's had on his son from afar. Stunned to find himself in his hometown after such a long absence, Large finds old acquaintances around every corner living quite unique lives as gravediggers (Peter Sarsgaard), fast food knights and the panderers of pyramid schemes. Meanwhile, at home, he does his best to avoid a long-simmering but inevitable confrontation with his father. By a twist of fate, Large meets Sam (Natalie Portman), a girl who is everything he isn't. A blast of color, hope and quirks, Sam becomes a sidekick who refuses to ride in his sidecar. Her warmth and fearlessness give Large the courage to open his heart to the joy and pain of the infinite abyss that is life.

I'm actually kinda glad that 'Run Lola Run' was taken, cause it re-jogged my memory about this movie. It takes place in Calgary, featuring the +15 system. The idea is that a group of co-workers bet a month's salary that they can be the last person to go outside.

Great concept, great characters, great Canadian movie.
