That punishment isn't near hard enough.

As far as the, 'are we any better' comment. Well, besides the regular stuff with insects when I was young, I never hurt any animals on purpose. Ran over a gopher once by accident and felt terrible about it.

I guess I caught a few fish too. If that counts. I don't hunt myself, but if your going to eat meat that's probably a humane way to do it.

And even now I try limit my meat in take and be very aware of where it comes form.

I was pretty amazed to hear some of those comments in the confessional thread too.

On a similar note, if you remember the thread on here, and story from last year about the dog in Windsor who had his ears sawed off by the owner - there was an update story on our local radio station last week about this creep. The guy who did that to the dog, was in jail on that and other charges. Last week in jail, he had his ear bitten off by another inmate! Is that karma or what.

I think the concept of being fully capable of brutally torturing an animal for mild pleasure is more concerning than the act itself.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Just keep in mind that he values animals over hobos. Probably because animals are edible.

Hobos are too, you just need secret hobo spices.

And a large enough trash can to cook em in.

Animals are a much smaller drain on society.

I find that the Oil Drums they baste themselves over to be more than sufficient.
