F*** Ken Miller. I hope he gets fired. If we don't release Bishop I - the hardest of hardcore Rider fans - will not cheer for the Riders next season.
I guess the Riders don't really have the best fans in the league if it's Hardest core member won't cheer for them due to personnel decisions.

Better than Calgary fans who don't even know who's on their team.

Also we don't let our owners put their sons at starting QB. Our management actually makes good decisions. Hence Bishop was released and I'm still part of the Rider Nation.

Wow. Do you have a short memory or something? Do the names Danny Barrett and Roy Shivers ring a bell? What about 18 years between home playoff games?

The stupidity seems to go up exponentially whenever the Riders come up on this forum.

Yes I remember Shivers and Barrett and I hated them both.

The original comment was made in the heat of the moment. Obviously I'm not going to stop cheering for the Riders even if we put a monkey in at quarterback. The point is Cowboy was taking a cheap shot which stems from a previous debate I've had with him and Moon about the fact that the Riders have far and away the most hardcore and dedicated fans in the CFL. (not that any of the other fanbases suck, they just aren't as good) I believe there is hardly any doubt about this. Especially since only the Leafs and the Habs sell more merchandise than the Riders.

Either way the original comment should be taken with a grain of salt. I was mad that the Riders lost and especially how Miller kept Bishop in the game when he should've been pulled. The shot I took at the Stamps probably wasn't necessary but then again Cowboy just has an inferiority complex about the Calgary fans. For some reason bashing Rider fans makes him feel better about having to be a Stamps fan.

Relax buddy. I was just ribbing and it seems I got an over-reaction. If you recall I actually was one of the people who was on your side in that debate in that I understood the psychology behind why the Riders are a special team.

I believe that is exactly the sentiments of my post. People need to relax.

Neither does ours. You are quick to sluff off Shivers but can't forget the stamps history. You are talking from both sides of your mouth.

Your team was bad this year, nowhere near as good as their record and they proved it. Have a Pil and turn the page.

Sheesh, one successful year and next thing you know a whole province turns into arrogant brats. I must have heard 2 dozen Riders fans from McMahon to restaurants to the airport talk about how they are the best fans in either the CFL or all of Canada or one guy said in North America (who thought I was lying when I said NCAA games can attract more than 100k per). I remember when the best fans in the universe stayed away from Taylor field in masses just a short time ago.
