I am not sure if this is a good idea yet. Leaning on yes since I am a dude and therefor have little self control in these matters.

Since I have no say in the whole breakup matter i can tell you right now RV.
(FUTURE) I got dumped, but at least I got laid one last time. (FUTURE)

Actually I think I've had breakup sex with every girl I've ever dated semi-long-term.
There never seems to have been any negative effects, so I say go for it!

Look at it this way.... your breakup could be the beginning of a very long cold streak. Get it while you can.
Friends with benefits is a bad idea immediately. After a few months when you don't really care about her anymore it's a great idea. Unless you are like my friend that was in that situation and ended up marrying her.

Looks like HHF was already tinking the same thing as I.
I've known a few people who got pregnant on sex that they had AFTER the relationship was over. You think that's bad news when you're dating? Haha, try hearing it when you're NOT!
