If Minnesota had a QB and a coach they'd be right up there with the Giants in the NFC.

The Vikings defense has been great today.

Minnesota has the ball 4th and 1 on their own side of the 50 with 9 minutes left trailing by 3.

It's a no brainer to punt it.

They didn't.

Pagal must be going ballistic.
Coach can't listen to his RB.

There have been so many mistakes. Up 21-10 they dont run the ball and throw a pick-6. Then a punt return for a TD (remember the Bush game?) The Viking special teams is horrible.

Then a defender hitting Rodgers in the head on 3rd and 13.
Then a fair catch at their own 4!

EDIT: now they take another timeout, i dont think they have any left.

The Fins hold on to beat the Hawks 21-19. That is the 5th win of the year for the Fins.

Gotta hand it to Purple Jesus. That guy plays with fire and he made up for his huge mistake.

It's a good thing Seattle sucks, cause no way did we deserve that win.

That 2nd half of the Pats game was fun to watch as a Pats fan... great 9+minute drive from their own 8 yard line to get the last TD... special teams were pretty brutal today though...

Pretty poor play calling by McCarthy on that last series there. You've got to get that first down and get Crosby into the 40's. Way too conservative.

I'm just watching the updates online.

I have work stuff that I MUST get done, but one of these days I'm going to realize that I spend more time checking the updates than doing what I want to get done.

The Titans won AGAIN! And they did it with virtually no rushing game to speak of. Collins went 31-40 for passing. :O

Fixed.

He played a bit better today...even though the receivers dropped a few, what wasn't mentioned was the tough catches receivers had to make when he was throwing them into double coverage, or throwing up hospital passes through the majority of the game. Receivers are finally realizing its up to them to make some tough plays, because their QB is throiwng passes that have them make them.

SEA defence was great today, one of their best games, and that's because Wallace and mainly the receivers made some first downs and the defense was less tired.

But when push came to shove, under a minute to go, ball at the 50, down by 2, 3rd and 10, he severly underthrows a 4 yard open Bobby Engram on an out and up route that would've put SEA in game winning FG territory....then on 4th and down, TE Carlson gets himself open in above mentioned double coverage, in first down territory and only 5-10 yeards from FG range, and gets a pass 3 feet over his head. Just brutal.

Hasselbeck to be back next week, maybe, but as I mentioned earlier in the thread, he's thrown in the towel for this year and is watching out from his own career and has a handful of excuses that he'll use for the rest of the season and into the Holmgren-less offseason.

Any faint faint hope for SEA and the division was officially done today.

San Diego is in big trouble here.

Their defense looks just as bad as Denver's, if not worse.

KC 13 SD 6

Chiefs blow the PAT

1. Brad Childress is a complete and utter ######.
2. The Vikings need to PUNT on 4th and 1 in their own end, unless it's under 2:00 minutes.
3. Special teams.....are you effing kidding me, throw starters out there on special teams, this is getting embarrassing.
4. Can you imagine this Viking team with a DECENT QB. Great defense, great running game and anemic passing game.

But I guess a win is a win, not sure HOW we let the Packers hang around with us in that game, they couldn't execute anything and yet they were right there and had a chance to win it.

I WANT A NEW COACH....please?

A couple of milestones in the KC/SD game.

Tony Gonzales moved into 10th all time in receptions.
Ladanian Tomlinson moved into 15th all time in career rushing yards.

Good stuff for two class guys.

San Diego gets jobbed by the officials. No way that was PI. They win anyways. Don't know why Herm went for two there.

Chiefs go for 2 and miss.

I don't like the play they called, but I salute the call to go for it. Well done.

The Chiefs got jobbed 3 plays earlier and I'm sorry, but if you're the mighty Chargers playing the lowly Chiefs you should never be in that position in the first place.

Why did they go for 2?

1-7. Why not?

I wasn't watching the game before that, lol. Yeah I guess they had nothing to lose. San Diego does not look like a playoff team. I really like how the Chiefs are really giving it their all this year, even with the lack of talent.

Colts/Steelers was also a very good game.
