lol sounds good too me. Ok first I would like to move Casino Royale from the Thriller category to one of my wildcards and will choose also in the wild card position. I had to check the draft board and search about 6 times to make sure this hasnt been taken. but team Theatre Head selects Philadelphia. A movie which was bold enough to take on the subjects of homosexuality and AIDS when they were very touchy issues to talk about.

Also spawning one of Bruce Springsteen's best songs IMO

Fine with me too.

With the 457th pick in the draft, Flame of Liberty selects American Gangster as a wildcard.

I had thought about Philadephia as a Wildcard myself. Such powerful characters telling a powerful story. Good pick up.

And Dis, whatever you have that keeps you from watching American Gangster, I must have too. Never seen it, not really too interested to see it right now.

With the 458th selection in the movie draft, The Ghost of Siskel chooses for the Wildcard category:

Gangs of New York (2002)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0217505/

Tremendous performance by Daniel Day-Lewis as the Butcher. Despite my dislike of DiCaprio for Titanic, I enjoyed this movie. I'm a sucker for period movies.

Could not agree more with the adjective you chose to use for Jackie Brown. It's so under appreciated. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Great cast and Robert Forster is awesome in this movie!!!

Great pick Tilley...

I thought about taking Gangs of War for the War category, as imdb has American Civil War as one of the tags. But I couldn't pass up a Bill Murray movie...

Thanks Proto.

With the 461st selection in the movie draft, The Ghost of Siskel chooses for the Wildcard category:

Best in Show (2000).

I can't keep a straight face when Catherine O'Hara walks around with the gimpy ankle. Shear hilarity.

I thought American Gangster was fantastic - and I'm not always the biggest Denzel Washington/Ridley Scott fan. There were some really good movies last year...

Wow Windom! Great turn right there!

Two awesome movies. I'm a Lynch fan, so Wild At Heart is a no brainer. The scene that really got me in that movie was the car wreck scene with Sherilyn Fenn (goddess) walking around in shock. What a great scene.

Jackie Brown was awesome other than the fact that I can't stand Bridget Fonda, especially when she's banging Robert DeNiro after smoking dope. Yuck. Really love Sam Jackson in this movie too.

Tilley, I'm a fan of Gangs of New York but it's a movie that gets a lot of ridicule around here. Daniel Day Lewis was incredible, as always, but I really found the film to be beautifully shot. The use of color was wonderful. Solid choice!

After moving Casino Royale to a Wild Card position team Theatre Head selects in the Thriller category, Identity.

As a guy who's not really a fan of thriller/horror movies for the most part, I really enjoyed this movie. A great cast and a smart premise. The violence is not over done and has an excellent twist. If you have not seen this movie I recommend you do.

I would like to add that I believe GirlySports deserves a special title below her name for creating these fantastic drafts.

You got that right Matty. She is the Draft Goddess!

Ro, maybe hold off until Girly checks in. It makes sense that if she was sent Res' Repo Man pick, she may have his next pick ready too.

VAN & Displaced, thanks for the Jackie Brown words. It's one I was keeping my fingers crossed to grab. As well as the adjective "underappreciated," I could use another one---"sublime." After QT's first couple of movies, I thought this one was an excellent change-of-pace.
