Step 1. Burn his house down.
Step 2. Save X-Box from fiery carnage.
Step 3. Profit.

As I have gotten older I have learned which friends I lend stuff to, and which ones I don't.
Be the better man in this situation, and politley but firmly get a date and time for its return. Then the next time he wants to borrow something, tell him no.

Wow i kinda got ran through the ringer for this thread.... I did look through my threads started after being accused of posting "several times, whining about my personal issues." i wouldnt call 3 or 4 times several but i guess some would. MIND YOUR BUSINESS lol .... just kidding
And yes i may be addicted to video games but the real reason i need it is because when i watch college football or hockey my wife watches dvds and my xbox is my dvd player and today is college football and hockey day... but whether or not im addicted isnt the issue. The issue is i would like to get my xbox and when i try to set a time to pick it up he doesnt answer me or says he is busy. And looks like EJ said My gamertag was online at the same time i was calling /texting him to come pick it up. but nonetheless i was just asking for advice......
in regards to the quoted posted post , hey ya gotta be known for something !!! lol

One of my buddies borrowed my wife for a week once. I got pretty ticked off when he didn't drop her off after 8 days, but what really dug me was when I found out she was making rice crispy squares for him. I love that , and it's simple as hell but she never makes it for me. Needless to say it caused some big problems with wifey as well as my good bud.
My point is, is he beating your records in the game? If not, you're just being a baby, but if he is you better smash his face!!

That happened to me once too. Now she's an "ex-box" as the First Lady so appropriately said. And my so-called buddy wound up marrying a real hag. Karma's a biitch.

Just call one night and see if he is home. If he is go and pick it up. And just put him on your watch list - as in watch out for this "friend"

Haha, I love how the guy puts up with his wife "not letting" him get an xBox if he wants one, that's fantastic.

He keeps dodging me ....... I have called and texted , this morning he texts and says whats up ?... I asked when i could come get it and he said he didnt know and would text me back in a few and he never did..... Funny thing is he went to play golf this morning .... the golf course backs up to my condo so he could have brought it to me this morning

Yeah this is pretty funny , also same wife that wont let him go out unless she goes , this includes CHL hockey games and also the same wife who on the night of their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties we had laid out where we were going and where they were going supposedly so we would steer clear of each other since we were both going downtown..... lo and behold Her and her friends show up at the club we are at at around 11:30 and she wont leave our table..... its pretty amusing

Just show up at their place if you are really this desperate to get it back.
I get how you feel though, I had a friend borrow a couple of movies from me, when she gave them back, they literally looked like a parade of elephants had trampled all over them. The cases were trashed and the discs were all scratched. I have no idea what she was doing with them, but I made her replace them all and I will never lend her anything again.
