CP Hall of Shame (or fame?)
I guess CP should have a hall of shame, for the members that represent Calgarypuck, but not that well....
Note the bottom " Note, Game called at 9:07 in second period - Calgary Puckers drunk, as per ref #15".
We spent over $300 on transportation of us and our equipment, started drinking at 5pm in preperation for this game ( In some cases predrinking for the predrinking), drive all the way to friggin Indus at 11pm on a Friday night, and get sent home at the beggining of the second period for "being too drunk". What a bunch of BS.
*** Just ten minutes ago, me and Josh tried to jump the tall fence along the c-train tracks along Macleod trail to get into Canyon Meadows, and I bailed big time, my f-ing back landed right on the track, and it was a 10 ft fall. That's going to hurt tomorrow for sure, good thing I don't have to feel t right now.
Cp Softball and Ball hockey teams, you guys have to step it up, it's lonely in this hall of shame.

Celebrated Square Root Day
|
*** We had one player suspended for 6 games for forcing the ref into the boards and calling him many names that can't be repeated on this board, plus another player suspended for 2 games for (alledgedly) following the refs to their room and then throwing his stick at them when they came out, but I'll look into that one, as I didn't see it happen.
So...uhhh..yeah.

...and apparantly the ref said that one player on our team "will never play again", but that may have been the same player on our team that may or may not have thrown his stick at the ref as he came out of the room.
Man, I'm going to have to wake up tomorrow and start sending e-mails to the league about what happened last night once I sober up.

Yup, throw you all in!
Seriously, this trip looked doomed when you were talking about the amount of boozing that would probably go on in the looking for DD's thread...
Why not save the heavy drinking for after the game? I'm not saying you can't have anything, but how can you play hockey like that? Wouldn't be fun for me. Course I haven't had the joy of playing in a beer league (or any league for that matter) so I probably don't get some of it.

That is awesome. I mean, I've mixed my booze and sports on occasion, but this, this is taking it to another level. Hell, a couple of other levels...
Another crazy level that most people dont even know exists, and if they knew they'd try and block it out in the darkest corner of their minds.
Did you win?

^^^ Scoresheet seems to indicate a 0-0 tie.
Considering they were kicked out that's probably technically a disqualification and a loss, lol.
I'm sure he's passed out sleeping it off right now. Probably won't be on to answer questions for a while, lol.

I like the penalty list....they definitely won in that category.
Tell Ref #15, aka Dave that you know where he lives....

Should we start looking for replacements?

Hope you took your own good advice and did not email while drunk. PWD is bad enough; we will let it slide.
Call any ex's last night? Text maybe ?

Looks like it was 2-1 for them when called.
As a rep for SW Slo pitch, I think none of us were drunk at the start of a game. Although there may be a couple exceptions...
I've only played hockey drunk once, and it was awful. Worse than my usual play.
So, who's #77 looks like he's in trouble.
And #6, what's with scoring a goal? You were clearly not on board with the drinking.

Meh, 77's defence should be it was Halloween and he was dressed up as Peca.
What was the delay of game. A bathroom break?
Goaltenders stats suggest he wasn't on board with the drinking also. Either that or he's hardcore.

Beer helps him focus?
Either way, this sounds like it should go down as a legendary CP event.

EPIC. This is either gonna give CP a bunch of street cred or make us look like a bunch of drunken goons (or maybe just expose us as the drunken goons that we really are).

There you go. Thats the one.
CP: Where drinking, sports and the internet are brought together to become the holy trinity of awesome.
This message was brought to you by CP Softball and Hockey teams, probably the CP Fatas based on their performance, as well as most late night posters. Soon to be joined by ball hockey.

#6 our "goal scorer", was so hammered he lined up on the wrong side for the faceoff, then after the bench was yelling at him he skated to the bench, at which point they sent him back out and he lined up behind the other teams defensemen then looked around in confusion as everyone else was yelling at him,
Fortunately???, he managed to find the penalty box alright.
While I thought the refs were quite patient, the one ref, #15 has some pretty poor game management skills. Everything was fine up until he decided he was gonna start calling some stupid penalties. At which point you had to know the drunks were gonna get, lets call it over excited.
