...or just rent a moving truck and stash all the guys and gear ride in the back. For bonus points and added party value, add a disco ball in the back and get everyone to wear rollerskates...

as discussed in previous moving thread, finding a moving vehicle at the end of the month can be next to impossible :P

I've got two United Way Charity games on Friday so I honestly don't think my body will be up for another one. But if you're really short I can do my best to get there. Maybe I'll have a nap or something after the kids trick-or-treat and head out after.

Well we're just looking for more players on the drinking team to be honest. I don't think really too worried about playing well/winning the game. You down for that? ALthough if you're taking the kids out you might not have enough time to catch up in drunkeness

My kids are pretty young so they're usually in bed by 7. So if the game's not til 11:30 that should be plenty of time. When is the bus heading out and from where?

I might do it for 200 bucks..but who would seriously do that for 50 bucks? dont mean to be a debbie downer, but isnt that a bit cheap-skatey? if everyone pitched in 10 or 20 bucks it would even be more appealing

The van/bus will be leaving the pub around 9:45ish I'd imagine. As for the pub, we haven't come up with a place yet, I know about half of us are from the south and the other half from the north, so I'd say somewhere down south I'll talk to the other guys and try to get something more concrete.

$200 seems like quite a bit for driving people to a hockey game, without using your own vehicle or paying for any gas. Although, I don't know what odd jobs like this usually demand in terms of money, so I may be out to lunch. I figured $60 or $70 and a free meal and couple drinks at the bar would be enticing.

well they just said 50 bucks..but for someone who might need some extra money 70 bucks AND a free meal sounds alot more enticing! i still think u should phone one of those airport shuttles..if u cant find a driver..or advertise on kijiji under odd jobs

I don't think those shuttle buses run anymore. The labour crunch really hurt them.
Can anyone confirm this?
