Heroes has been taking the right steps in the last two episodes. Instead of frantically running around all over the place the plot is settling on about three different arcs ( Claire/HRG/Meridth, Suresh/Nikki 2/Nathan, and everyone else) with a couple of common threads between them. We now have enough of an idea of who the bad guys are, what they want and how they're trying to get there, but there's still enough mystery left to keep the viewer interested.
The only story line going on right now that I don't like is Suresh and his slime fortress of doom. As a scientist he's fine, but as an evil weirdo he is not. He's the story's narrator, he's supposed to be the wise voice of reason, not some half-baked Dr. Jekyl Mr.Hyde ripoff.

I think the Suresh storyline is going to end up being quite important to explain how people can overcome the side effects of having powers like Sylar's and Peter's 'hunger'.
On the other hand, what group of superheroes only has one nemesis. The 'good gone bad/crazy' theme is certainly a good old comic book standby.

Well it shouldn't have been tough to top the other episodes. But I have to agree, last night got me interested.

PLOT HOLE!!

Wouldn't his dad have also taken Peter's power? Which is the ability to absorb powers? Peter should be helpless now.

I wonder If the power-taking abilities will end up sort of cancelling out. Maybe the dad can only take Peter's absorbed abilities but not his innate power taking ability since the dad already has much the same ability. Peter may just be momentarily weakened by the absorption. I guess we'll just have to see.

Seems to me like the father's power taking abilities may not be permanent. He can probably transfer them back or maybe even give them to new people. My guess is Peter gets some sort of powers back.
The thing with Adam Monro was neat, without his powers he ages like he would have? He probably won't be getting any powers back anytime soon.

I would think Adam Munroe is dead and won't be brought back. Kinda like the artist Isaac

Yup, picking up for sure.
Regarding plot hole and peter losing his powers. He doesn't really figure out how to use the persons powers right away, so he may have absorbed up on pops powers, but he didn't know what they were and. . . they embraced and he lost'em.
Yeah I liked peter better when he was tough and kicked ass.
Same with Hiro, he's bordering on lame now. He could be so much better.
Future Peter needs to come back to life and do some damage.
Suresh is just dumb.
Nathan is a little boring.
I wanted to see parkman get better with his powers.

I like the whole fire vs ice on Nathans women.
ALso, I think Claire vs Knox is going to come into play. Knox gets his powers by using peoples fear. For a while Claire has been whining about how she cannot feel pain and nothing affects her. Looks like she is the one to negate his powers.

They seemed to have resolved a lot of the issues in the show that were annoying, but there's one still remaining -- Sylvar. He unwaiverly accepts everything everyone tells him as truth without the slightest question as to their motivations. Mommy loves me, I'm a good guy! What? Mommy lied? I'm a bad guy now! He's so easily manipulated its bordering on ridiculous.
Peter seems a bit overly gullible too, but nowhere near as bad as Sylar.

Ever think Sylar is actually purposefully infiltrating the Pinehurst Organization and saved Peter by slowing him down before he hit the ground?
Just a thought.

Indeed, either Sylar or his father saved Peter from that fall.

Perhaps. But this is not the first time he's "changed sides" either this season either. Started out bad from last season, Peter jumped to the future where he as good, went back to the present where he was still bad, then he went to good when he found out Angela was his mother, went back to bad when he took the guy's power in the bank, back to good when he learned to control his power and now back to bad to join Pinehearst... its getting a bit trying for me.

I think the whole point is that noone is supposed to know what is good and what is bad right now or if good/evil even exist.
As for Sylar being manipulated by his mother, I think that she is supposed to be an expert at that so not even Sylar would be immune to her manipulation.

We've seen the future and Syler is good. They have done nothing to "change the future" yet, so it would reason Syler saved Peter and is "acting" bad atm.
Also, Peter's dad seemed to imply he knew Syler slowed him down with the condensening question of "How did he live for a 7 story fall"

Re : Sylar's gullibility
Could be a couple If things, he is faking it and still committed to his mother's plan, or it is an aspect of his defective personality.
Remember his origin story and his bizarre reactions to things around him.
