Damn. Pretty cool indeed.

The only one of the last Batman series that I thought was halfway decent was the first one. The rest were crud.

But this looks good. Darker. Batman is a flawed hero - bent on revenge - glad this movie is going to focus on that.

I like the new Batman trailer. Kinda get the idea we are to throw away all the prior Batman movies and start over again.

Does that say "Summer 2006" ? or 2005? I hope its not 2006...that would suck to have to wait that long. Also, any info. on who he is fighting in this movie? I hope its the joker..always a favorite of mine and I thought the first movie was the best by far..so it would make sense to bring back the clown !

Thank-You KevanGuy
Ever dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight? hahahahah

I like Batman even more than Roman Turek.

I agree with Jiri, the first Batman was one of the greatest movies ever.
I love that Batmobile in that movie. It wasnt over done and that was the best part of it. Plus Jack Nicholson was just amazing.

Batman returns: Michelle Pfieffer in that Catwoman suit. Enough said.

The third and fourth one were stupid. Batgirl and Mr. Freeze? Gimmie a break. Val Kilmer is no Batman.

EDIT: What the hell is that tank looking thing doing as the Batmobile??

DC has a long way to go before they do a comic book movie like Marvel. The Spiderman and X-Men movies have both been for great quality. Hopefully this is great and not another Carwoman. Looks good though, Christian Bale as the stuff to be a good Batman I think.

hehehe getting American Psycho to play Batman was an awesome choice. The Batman movie will be great if it follows the comic books, where he is more a detective than an action star. They also have to make it way darker, serial killers, mass murderers, rather than some cheesy arrrnold villain.

I'm a HUGE Batman fan, with out a doubt my favourite superhero. After Burton left the franchise it went really down hill, and I don't even consider Clouney as Batman, that movie was HORRID. Looks like they're getting back to the darker side of Batman. Something I am a fan of

This looks good. Batman was always my favorite superhero and every movie after the first one sucked. He has to be dark and somewhat evil himself.

The only reason Batman was the "good guy" was because his nemesis's were more evil and dark than he was.

Looks cool except for the 4 wheel drive Batmobile which looks stupid

the first Batman movie was incredibly well done and the acting was terrific. Michael Keaton (where is that guy now?) was a perfect batman for that movie and the joker was terrific.

The second movie had its good moments, catwoman and Devito put in strong scenery chewing performances, and Christopher Walken was his usual nutty self. Michael Keaton managed to make Batman even more twisted and evil

the third movie fell off the map and got into the crazy architecture, Val Kilner mailed in his performance, and Chris O'Donnell promptly fell off of the map after that one. tommy Lee Jones couldn't save the Two Face character and Jim Carey was terrible. It was a badly written and lame movie

The Fourth movie was terrible, It was George Clooney and Dr Doug Ross as Batman, Chris O'donnell managed to make an annoying sidekick so bad that I tried to drink rat poison after seeing that movie. The insanely stupid sets were just done so they could brag about thier CGI and model work. Arnold did the best he could with a terrible script and Umma Thurman was just god awful. Silverstone was cute in tight black rubber, but that was the beginning of the end of her a list acting career. Worst scene in a movie ever when they reprogrammed all of the satellites in order to make a heat ray.

Bale is an incredibly understated actor, his work in American Psycho was underrated and that was due to the watering down of the book which could never be made into a movie (Hey why hasen't anyone made the book 'Chains' into a movie. Now that guy was an artistic killer) If they simplify things its going to be a great movie.

Batman was never a hero, he was a vigilante who could never heal his soul due to his overwhelming lust for revenge. It was a great concept ruined by the Campy Adam West Batman.

He was as much of a psycho as Christian Bale was in his other movie
