Did some 3 player coop yesterday...who knew one of the best parts would be playing dressing up with your sackboy.

Didn't do multiplayer last night as it required an update to my PS3 and I didn't want to wait.

Played through some of the levels, man the level design is excellent.

Total collectors game too, I can see I'm going to be replaying levels many times to get 100%.

I was wondering if they were down for anybody else. I've only found 1 free hour this whole weekend! I've already scheduled in a two hour block of time tomorrow night to learn how to make stuff.

edit: I see the servers are down on purpose as the actual release date isn't until tomorrow (27th).

Just a gentle notice that the servers are now up. I am still stuck in the tutorial stages, so all the wonderful ideas I have in my head are still a fair distance away.

Nah, I'll fill the penalty box with my excessive stick-lifting to make up for you being "sacked"!

Wasn't able to get on the servers tonight, but got through a few more levels.. man they get hard, getting 100% or acing all the levels is going to be tough.

The level design is crazy good, though there are few parts that are very frustrating.

Found it at the NE best buy. Stockboy had to go get a bunch of boxes from the back, and upon boot up it asked for 1.02 patch so it might be one of the unpatched editions.

Not too sure. Anyways, some initial playing revealed it to have some interesting characteristics in how depth is accomplished. Just finished the garden, so I guess I'll be updating and getting onto the net in general.

However, this doesn't mean I'll be leaving alone my NHL 09 playing...

I'm hoping Amazon doesnt take too long to ship my order out. I've been waiting for Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway for almost a month now though so I'm not holding my breath.

Finally got to sit down with it for over an hour last night. Just learning how to attach motor bolts to things and turn them on and off with switches. I am pleased to report I made a penis that gets erect with the push of a button. Oh videogames ... where we dare to dream.

I've never been on their servers.. And there's no uproar, if this had been EA with a big name game they would have been raked over the coals.

Hard to get your mad on when you're dressing your sackboy though.

I'm not terribly bothered at this point as I haven't really had the time to learn the basics just yet let alone make anything worth showing off.

Sounds like there's a patch that should allow for the online to work now.

Finally picked up a PS3 over the weekend, thought I would only buy 1 game to get started and chose Little Big Planet after seeing you guys talk about it and reading some great reviews online.

Stickers? Dressing up sock puppets? I'm not sure what I got myself into here, it's visually beautiful and different but isn't this game aimed towards little kids?

The style is very cute and animated, but I'm not sure I'd say it's aimed at any specific demographic. Have you played any of the online levels yet? I've only played a few but was very impressed with what I saw.

Something like the level Photon listed above is very complicated and creative. Maybe I don't give kids a lot of credit, but I can't imagine a kid coming up with something that cool.

Edit: If anybody is interested, the name of the above level is Libidius.jp if you want to play it.

I'm sure I'll get into it but the even the music is driving me a bit crazy, I'll have to start turning the volume down. Then the huge cardboard characters make the mumbly sounds, others with the baby sounds, damn annoying.

Have not played any online levels, how does that work? Do the levels become part of the overall game, or is it a standalone thing just for fun?
