Well with our back-up in net and badly outshotk, fortunate to escape with a point. Jay Bouwmeester with a big game.

However the bad news is Paul Martin suffered a serious injury and is gone for at least a month.

JJ is going to have to step up now.

Oh for eff sakes. We outplay a team again and still lose. Seems to be the trend this year. Everyone is now on the block including Pavel Datsyuk. Looking to improve on the blueline and in goal.

Despite be heavily out shot, the Yotes were able to walk away with a tie. Toskala stood on his head again making 38 saves.

Preds get caught by a tough Leaf squad. Somehow Jim Dowd found sometime on the PP to get our only goal in the 3-1 final. Now its a couple of days rest before we hit the ice again.

San Jose tried to start Lalime today, big mistake as that move really fired up my team. Dubinsky scored on the first shift of the game, and Malhotra added a shorthanded goal for a 2-0 1st period lead. SJ got a shorthanded goal in the 2nd, but the Stars kept control after that in the 5-1 Stars victory.

The Dubinsky-Hecht-Sullivan line had 3 goals matched up against Michalek-Briere-Hossa who were all -3. Cullen might move back to LW so that trio can be kept together.

Steve Rucchin: 1G, 3A, 4PTS, +3

Nice game Steve! You're waived!!!

Got some weird SIM stuff going on with my team as it seems to really love Olesz and Vladislav Evseev of all people.

Nice little two day break now for the Isles who are a little bruised up.

A great bounce back game for the Kings this afternoon with a 7-1 victory over the divison rival Avalanche. Ilya Kovalchuk showed up when the team needed him most with 4 points and 1st star honors. The Kings dominated play in each period and outshot the Avs by a wide margin in all periods of play.

On a down note Hunter will be on the injured reserved for a week after getting dinged. "Mad Max" Talbot returns from the injured list to help pick up the slack.

It also means, AHL prospect Patrick O'Sullivan gets to live the CPHL dream for another few games.

Big win for the Ducks, just to stay at 500 on the year. We have been playing terrible but hopefully these new acquisitions start paying dividends. Luongo comes in with a 3-1 win and Johnsson scores the GWG and gets 1st star in the game.

Nash was rested as he was at 85CD, now he is magically OK which is awesome cuz he can come back next game!

The Habs win their second in a row yet end up with another injury in Mikko Koivu. Our top 2 centreman are now down for the count, but at least Filppula will be back and decent enough to play.

Cammalleri had a nice 2 goal effort, and Booth performed well on the top line. F. Kaberle continues to surprise as a top pairing defenseman.

The powerplay stepped up for the Lightning scoring both goals. Mikey Smith was solid in goal again.

The team has yet to lose a game by more than one goal despite all of the injuries. Coach Hitchcock was impressed that they have been in every game thus far and has given them 2 days off.

Another loss to the Oil. Just can't seem to generate any scoring. Still looking to trade a defensive player for someone with some scoring touch

Flames drop another game. How sad is this team? Wayne Primeau and Mark Mowers have been the team's best players. A major move is about to take place. More details later.

Thanks to Simmer for submitting lines.

Apparently I'm not the best luck though.

Good games for the Jackets winning 5-2. I have been impressed with Coburn so far this year. Also Ribiero has been proving that he likes it here in Columbus adding another goal and an assist.
Looking forward to the day off and then taking on the Panthers

Lalime drops his first start of the season against my ex-team, the Stars. It was the first time Osgood wasn't 100% heading into a game and I figured it was a good time to give Lalime a shot...apparently not.

Only goal we got was shorthanded and still, Michalek and Ranger countinue to get points. Michalek is now tied for the league lead in goals with 9. Unfortunately Briere's point streak ends at 7 games. This was a bad game that we can hopefully put behind us and get some rest on our 2 days off before heading to Vancouver to play the Nuckies.

Leafs beat Preds 3-1.

Nice win for the Leafs. Pretty even game but we pulled it out, with Shane O'Brien and PM Bouchard posting 2 points each. Harding was 30 for 31 in his first start as a Leaf. Two tough games against Pitt and Minny coming up.
