Default Fido/Rogers 17.50 Plan

So many of you might already know about this plan or maybe you're even subscribed to it already, but I just found out about it yesterday and switched over to it today. Great deal I think.

$17.50/month

200 Weekday Minutes
Unlimited Evenings & Weekends (Starts at 6PM) - 5PM for Fido
+ SAF
+ 911 Fee

I added the $11 Communication Pack for Voice Mail, Caller ID and 125 sent text messages per month and I'm still on the Flex Rate Data Plan for my Blackberry at $30/month for 500MB.

Just a heads up for those of you who may not have known about the $17.50 plan like me!

Does anyone know if the Rogers data plans include tethering?

Why not switch to the $30/6GB BB Data plan?

i have it for mine but I was told it was an EAP plan and you could only get it if your company had a deal with Rogers. And here I thought I was special.

^ All you need is to be a "member" of one of the organizations that qualify for this plan... I'll get the list if I can find it, but Aeroplan and Airmiles are two.

Ya really they just put a title on it to make you feel special. Bell is the exact same way with it's corporate plans....except Bell's Corp plans are a TON better!

I got it no problem with my iPhone and I didn't get it through my company or anything.
