Not sure if anybody has the same problem I do with weather apps. I find the one that comes with the phone to be crap and I hadn't found a stronger alternative until today. WeatherEye seems to do everything I need and is fairly slick.

Haha, no, just a lot of the reviews were saying that it didn't work and the temps weren't accurate. Nice looking app, though.
I need to rebuild my phone again this weekend, so I'll probably try it before and then decide if it makes my short list of apps that get to live on my phone all the time.

I see. Calgary is a tough city to gauge weather in at times. It can snow in the south and be fairly clear in the north. It draws from the weather network which I generally find to be accurate.
For some unexplained reason The Calgary Traffic app is free. Every other city traffic app is $5 ... I say get on it!

I thought it was an introductory thing, but apps that were released yesterday (Ottawa, Quebec) are $5 ... and that's just for Thanksgiving week. Perhaps I should take the fact that they still think it's thanksgiving week to mean that they aren't totally on the ball. Exploit them while you can!

I use Fizz Weather too. I usually only go for free apps, but this one is quite slick. I feel it is worth the price.

Question about Air Sharing. Is there any way to take files that are on the iPhone, such as pictures, and put them in the folders in order to transfer to a computer? Or is this strictly to transfer files to the iPhone?

The app says ***free trial ending soon***, so I wonder if they'll make it not work anymore and require a purchase.

Has any other app done that? I've seen many apps free to download for a time, but they don't get locked out once the developers start charging for them.

Not that I've seen, but there's a LOT of apps out there and I'm sure someone will try it sooner or later, unless it's against the App store ToS

I'm quite surprised at how smooth Google Earth is on the iPhone. With the amount of bandwidth it needs I was expecting it to be quite slow. Hopefully they flesh out the features more in future updates. Unless I'm missing something I don't see a way to set or download placemarks and the roads layer would be very useful.
