Synching iPod with Outlook (at work)

I've never had an iPod or used iTunes before, so excuse my ignorance here.

I have iTunes at home which I use to update my iPod... awesome. Now I want to be able to get my calendar from Outlook on my work PC to synch with my iPod as well. Is this possible? I know iTunes can do it, but I also thought your iPod was locked to only synch to one computer so you can't just steal all of your friends songs.

I can load my songs purchased from itunes onto my sister in laws ipod from my computer, so I am pretty sure you can load your music onto any ipod. Also I can sync my ipod with both my desktop and my laptop.

As for the calender stuff, I have no idea but I assume you could export your calander in the format supported by itunes, whatever it is. If not, then you may find a program to convert between the 2 formats.

I sync my music/apps/media at home and calendar at work and I have no problems. i think as long as you set the media syncing to manual on the work computer, and only sync the calendar stuff it doesn't complain.
