I knew that part way through the first episode. Some people think it's easy money and just show up (GC, Kelly...). Some people know it's a kill-or-be-killed scenario and man-up from the get go.
Speaking of the latter, anyone else think that Randy is a complete psycho, but perfectly suited to these challenges? He's one of the older players and has zero personality, but the dude has game; always a factor in the challenges, always psyched up and locked in. He is also my pick for first Survivor contestant to get tossed from the show for snapping, going postal, and physically assaulting someone with fishing line or a tribal torch.
Early lines on his potential victim are Suzie 1-4, Charlie 1-6, Probst (at tribal) 2-5

I agree with you, he's a really different sort and you can tell he has a bad temper. His bio made me think he was a strange one from day one.

A wedding videographer? Jeez, can you imagine that lurking about on one of the happiest days of your life.
On another note and probably a useless piece of info I was thinking that the elephants looked considerably smaller and different than the things you see out on the Serengeti etc so did a quick search.
Turns out that as from just recently there are "considered" 2 speices of elephant in Africa now. These are classified as forest elephants.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African...es_differences
Quote:
The African Elephant genus Loxodonta is nowadays generally considered to be composed of two species, the African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana) and the African Forest Elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis). The African Forest Elephant has a longer and narrower mandible, rounder ears, a different number of toenails, straighter and downward tusks, and considerably smaller size. With regard to the number of toenails: the African Bush Elephant normally has 4 toenails on the frontfoot and 3 on the hindfoot while the African Forest Elephant normally has 5 toenails on the frontfoot and 4 on the hindfoot (like the Asian Elephant), but hybrids between the two species occur.

IMO, if these hybrids are fertile them IMO this doesn't make them 2 seperate species but subspecies. JMO

Did the wife have any input on your picks, Aeneas?

Aeneas does it again. Makes his picks based on feeling rather than logic, and now he is OUT of the Survivor pool.
Also, just another excuse to bring up those pics again.

Can we just re do the draft?
Should have drafted Sugar, she actually seems like a decent person.

Yes, it was a good show.
Unexpected ending I thought, but good for me. It almost went the other way.

Day after so I suppose it's OK to post spoilers.
Good show and some actual intelligence was on display...something that is often lacking on this show. Ace was becoming an anchor for Sugar and needed to be cut away and that needed to be done BEFORE he would be a member of the jury (at least I don't think they are at that stage yet).
For the other tribe...I think they made a mistake by voting out Dan. If a merge comes sooner rather than later Susie is going to flip and flip quickly.

Agree about sugar, she has really benefitted from the makeUNDER that happens when on Survivor.

Not to mention all her time on exile island has her eating far more than anyone else and a more balanced diet. She's the only healthy person out there.

No freaking kidding
She's toast now.
Wait till Charlie, Corinne and Randy find that out, I can't wait to see the sparks fly.
Marcus should have lied, lied, lied to her and make her feel like he was going to take her all the way no matter what.

I just watched this now and I disagree. Susie was undoubtedly next to be gone on the "Kota 6" .
Now Kota 6 is only 5 and if Susie joins up with the old "Fangs", she's up 5 vs 4. Better hope of getting further in her new team.
Next week's immunity challenge is huge. Preview maybe hinted at Randy trying to throw the challenge to get rid of Matty or Sugar.

I missed the before tribal council scheming, so I don't know how that came about that they got Sugar to vote for Charlie? I was shocked.
I know I have Susie in my pool, but man I can't stand that woman.
Did you see her smiling that big smile at Marcus when he came in? Give me a break, you backstabber, lol.

I just interpreted Susie's smile as "I'm glad I'm here and you're not." But then again she could just be trying to play the happy to see you angle.
I was glad they merged though.

yes, you could be right, I guess my intepretation was the happy to see you smile.
Yes, it was time for the merge. Should be quite interesting next week with Randy and Crystal.
