I'm sure everyone has seen the commercial on TSN.

About time they advertise it.

Well, if you're stomach/digestive system can handle processing milk, that's great.

Milk's being linked to more and more intestinal disorders, especially out here on the prairies where it constitutes a very high percentage of our diet. I know I have a huge amount of problems if I go crazy with dairy.

Lactose intolerant?

Obviously, if you can't handle milk, you shouldn't be drinking the stuff after a workout. But the past few years everyone and his dog has been pushing the whole 'post-workout shake'.....which happens to be extremely costly. And yet, chocolate milk is anywhere from 1/2-1/10 the price, depending on if you buy pre-maid stuff or not.....and it works BETTER, IMO.

You think its better than protein shakes? I much prefer the taste of chocolate milk over sawdust, milk, and vanilla flavoring.

Absolutely.

I have yet to find a protein shake that doesn't taste like regenerated puke.

What about sugar content in chocolate milk?

The whey protein from costco tastes pretty good to me.

Stuff I use has 11g sugar per 250mL.

So, around 22g per 500mL. Plus, its natural sugar....not the processed crap we usually get.

Why Chocolate milk? Regular Milk is no good? What about that Milk to Go voodoo they try to cram down your throat on Campus?

According to the website(which you obviously didn't look at )....chocolate milk has more of the essential carbohydrates that you need after extensive exercise.

Regular milk is good if you play golf, or something moderate like that.

I would always drink a liter of chocolate milk after basketball practice when I was in high school. Our practice was at 7AM before school started, so I wanted something quick and easy for breakfast. Had no idea I was actually doing the right thing.

My buddy in Kines who I worked out with on occasion first year always told me that chocolate milk was the best post-workout drink.

I used chocolate milk as a recovery drink all summer to great success. Helped me prepare for the Transrockies race in August. Downed huge amounts of it after every stage in that as well.

Sweet, I am hooked on chocolate milk mainly for the calcium intake. Didn't know the benefits of post-workouts until now. Thanks for the link!
