I am not reading through 14 pages but if it hasn't been mentioned Friday Night Lights Season 3 has premiered on October 1st on Direct TV only, NBC won't be airing it till 2009 which sucks, but if you really want to view it ahead of time like me you can use torrents.

I wanted to watch Kath and Kim tonight on NBC, the one with Selma Blair and Molly Shannon, but I think it's on during hockey. Anyone heard anything about this show, liked or panned by the critics? Anyone else interested in it?

I'm not expecting Kath & Kim to be good at all. I read that they had to totally redo the pilot episode, which is never a good sign. And maybe it's just me, but I don't find Molly Shannon very funny.
John Michael Higgins (Wayne Jarvis from Arrested Development) is usually good though. He plays her (Kath's) boyfriend.
I think it's on well before the Flames game though. 8:30pm ET, I think?

Really? I like Molly Shannon and I definitely like John Michael Higgins. I was hoping it would be good.
It's on during the Leafs/Detroit game. I wanted to watch that one.

What exactly is this weekend update? Is it a full show of ... weekend updates? Are they still gonna do them on SNL?

Yeah, Life has been awesome so far. I think they are airing it twice a week for right now, only because the Monday timeslot for Life is going to go to that new Christian Slater show starting next week (I think). Fridays is the new day for Life.
