I'm kind of curious how E is not really trying to get Vince a job as bad as he's trying to get the srcipt he read into a studio film and now that edward norton wants to do it it will prolly make vinny jealous.
I can see Ari having some good lines for that type of an episode.

I think E and Vince were interested in the script for Vince. Ari woudn't hear it since it wasn't a studio film. E liked the script and wanted to see if it could be made into a movie. He shopped it by (whats her face) and after she contacted Ed Norton about it, Norton told her that he would like to make it into a studio film.
So Vince will be jelous or disapointed with E for not getting the script developed into a studio film for him. Vince should also be disapointed with Ari that he didn't try to get the script developed into a studio film for him as well. You can see the concern on E's face about the upcoming conflict.

That was the best episode of the season by a country mile.
The picture from "Hardbodies 3" of Ari's wife -- "Hardbodies" was one of them goofy 80's movies that had a lot of boobies in them and some silly plot, but it wasn't a porno. There wasn't an actual "Hardbodies 3", but there was a "Hardbodies 2".

Ya enjoyed the 3rd episode very much. This season is out to a great start I think. Love the amount of Ari in episode 3. Easily the best part of this show

Ari Gold is the best Character on TV. The lines he uses with Lloyd and Adam in E03 were classic. The Mark Walberg Cameo was funny too.

E keeps struggling. Tough tough decision coming next episode. Does he take the 1 mil offer and screw vince out of getting back into the game? Does he convince his clients the 500K offer is the only one, then they find out, leaving Vince AND E with nothing? Do they somehow convince Alan to give the 2nd role to Vince and everyone is happy? Do the guys take out a loan to buy the script themselves? The last one is for kicks.

Yeah I'm mixed on this episode. The episode was pretty meh to me. Nothing awesome really seemed to happen. The Drama incident was it, and I'm really not the biggest fan of Drama.
Definitely makes me looking forward to next weeks episode though!

I can't wait to see Ari try to convince Alan to give Vince the 2nd lead. What a great ending.

^^^yeah, it definitely wasn't the funniest episode by any means, but I liked it a lot. I like the fact that they mix in drama with the laughs. And me personally, I really like movies and shows about the entertainment industry, whether it be satire or true to life.
I love this show.

I don't know if its brilliant or painfully mean, but the 30 mins go by so fast and really leaves you wanting more.
Can't wait to see how the hell E manages this with his writers getting the huge offer and trying to include Vince who's like poison right now.

Drama's easily my favourite character on that show(along with Ari), but I was a little disappointed with the View meltdown. Before this year started, I had heard one of the highlights was a Drama meltdown on the View. I was picturing that meant he was going to explode on Whoopi or something, which I thought would be pure comedic gold, I was dying to see it. So to see "meltdown" actually turned out to mean crying on air & pandering for his ex, was disappointing.
Not the most hilarious episode, but I like where its going. This is the first time in the show that I feel there's some "real" conflict going on. Before, the worst thing against them was their annoying friend Dom, or moral worries about hurting certain producers/directors feelings in terms of who they should pick to do their movie. This is my favourite show out there right now, but everything's always been a little too easy for them. But now there's some actual legit drama going which could fracture the group, and has Vince's career in jeopardy. I think it's good for the show.

I thought the episode was actually pretty crappy... didn't really get anywhere, felt spotty, like a filler episode between two great ones so they could get to their required number of shows. Only think I know is that Arnold is still alive.

Why does an episode need to get somewhere?? I think episodes like this make the show amazing. Episodes like this that stand out from the rest. Last season, they had an episode where Drama and Vince bet who could get laid first, Eric or Turtle?? In that episode, there was nothing about Medellin, nothing about Cannes or anything.....but it was maybe the funniest episode I have seen. So many good lines and very relatable to guys. When this show is over, episodes like the one last night, the episode in Vegas, in Cannes, at Sundance, the filming of medellin and "the bet" will stand out as some of the better ones in the show's overall run BECAUSE they were different from the rest.
