Well it is game day! Anyone know what the line up maybe? thanks to the people who post thoughts and pics...it is great to see! When you live so far away and still want to follow the guys you have seen play in WHL. So if someone can give a re-cap of the game tonight it would be greatly appreciated.

I will be there with the trusty camera! I will post up after the game. Drunk skunk will also be there with his bad a** camera and will post better pics. I will get some videos.

God that Chops name is horrid.

I'll be, hopefully, sitting in my new glass seats, so I should be able to get some good pictures. I make no promises of getting them up tonight, though, as I have plans after the game that involve alcohol.

If you're bored, you will be able to listen to the game online as well. It starts at 7 CST, and should be on the Farm Flames' website. If not, check out the stream from their radio provider, WYEC 93.9 FM

tickets tonight are general admission right?

if so, i will just sit somewhere random. gonna get to see all 40 games from the same spot this year, so might as well get some variety right!!!

i might try to give updates from my phone during the game.

Tonight was like watching men against boys. The Flame completely and utterly dominated the Chops. Scott Reid played the first two periods, allowing one goal. Irving came in for the third and pitched a shutout, but honestly I don't think he made more than five saves. There were five or six fights, including a dandy involving Tremblay.

Kris Chucko continues to really impress me. Tonight, he played just as hard as he did Thursday, and added a dirty edge. He was stirring the pot all night, and even got into a fight. Germyn and Peters both played a great game, and Van Der Gulik scored the game winning goal. Physically, it was like watching men against boys. The Flames hit the Chops out of the building, and by the 10 minute mark of the third, the Chops started visibly shying away from contact. It was a great game, and it even made me more excited about the start of the season.

Thanks for the videos PIMking. Good quality too.

On that same page Tremblay takes on MacIntyre and gives him a good go. Don't think we'll need Tremblay but in a pinch, if this turns into an arms race, he can hold his own against the big boys. Of course we'd have to sign him though.
