Microsoft Photosynth- Check out my Flames Wall

I've been fiddling around with this neat program Microsoft has come out with called Photosynth. It allows you to stitch photos together in a very neat way, kind of like a panorama but different- it becomes almost 3D.

I made one of the "Wall of Flame" that I have in my basement.

Here is the first one I made of a teddy bear sitting in a chair. The angles aren't right, so it's kinda strange.

Others have made some really big beautiful ones with checking out too!
It requires a small download to work, but I really recommend playing around with this if you like taking photographs. The effect is neat, and they plan to improve it a lot with time.

PS- Using the scroll wheel on your mouse is quite helpful for navigating different Photosynths.

Sounds neat but microsoft won't let it run on a mac or even display the webpage. Oh well.

Of note in mine is that my dad has some of the Flames programs that were done by Charles Schultz in the 80's. (Creator of the Peanuts comic) Apparently he knew one of the Flames' owners.

Update- I did one of the Saddledome from my seat at the Leafs game on Tuesday. It turned out kinda interesting.
