What got him off last time was that the police involved in the case were obviously racists. No matter how strong the evidence against him, there was absolutely no shaking the doubts the jury had about the people that collected the evidence.

Mark "these people kill and then go eat KFC" Fuhrman should not be a household name. It's not society's fault it took two crimes to get him behind bars, it's not "the rich buying justice", it was the LAPD's inability to shake its image of racism. Thirteen years later and if the murder trial was held again today, you would get the same verdict.

They could have tried the same defence again, but it wouldn't have played as well to an all-white jury.

What also got him off in his first trial was moving the trial downtown to make it more convenient for the prosecution. Had that trial been held in West LA, where OJ lived, that jury of his peers would NOT have reached the same verdict. The criminal verdict had nothing to do with evidence and everything to do with minorities sensing an opportunity where they felt like they could bring vindication for all the misdeeds of the LAPD.

At any rate, justice should finally be served, even if it took 13 years to get it. OJ is going where he belongs.

Finally it's safe for the real killer or killers to take up golfing again.

Had to share this. Not my own idea. Don't know who said it either.....

Wouldn't it be ironic if OJ went to the same prison as the real killers?

HA!
