Default 7-year-old breaks into reptile centre, feeds animals to croc

Quote:
A SEVEN-year-old boy broke into a reptile farm and smiled as he fed 10 live reptiles, the farm's main exhibits, to the resident crocodile. He also bludgeoned three lizards to death in their pens, The Northern Territory News reported.

I'd keep an eye on this kid...

Well, I think we can all say that this one's going to be a serial killer.

even though this is pretty disgusting, you gotta admit there's an element of coolness to it.

Since the boy is too young to press charges, I hope that the zoo is able to go after the parents in civil court to recoup the financial loss.

Yeah, you think the parents would have better control of a 7 year old. Also, they should look into counselling. Some odd behavior.

Beating 3 lizards to death is cool?

Getting eaten by a croc would have been cooler.

sorry i guess i should have specified. the beating of the reptiles to death is awful, but the fact that a 7-year old broke into a zoo and fed animals to a crocodile sounds like something out of a movie.

We've all been to the zoo and thought "how cool would it be to watch that big snake fight the crocodiles?"

Actually, cruelty to animals at a young age is often a predictor of anti-social (psychopathic) personality disorder...

I don't know man, it only seems like he killed defenseless animals, not too sure I find anything about that particularly cool. Killing any animal for enjoyment alone is fairly disturbing to me.

Well techinically the crocodile killed a lot of the animals...

The kid also tried to climb into the crocodile's tank, im guessing the massive salt water croc would have put up more of a fight.

I was thinking this too. I mean, the very premise of the crime is hysterical. Sure, in reality there is a larger element of tragedy involved, but its still pretty bitchin'. That is a ballsy move for a 7 year old. I figured crimes like this were the exclusive purview of drunken frat guys.

Come on, looking past Manson Jr. here, if it was the punch line of a joke it would be hilarious.

Either way, Darwinism at its finest, if those reptiles had been stronger they would have either killed the croc or eaten the kid themselves.

the last sentence makes me think you're being sarcastic. but "ballsy" was the first word that came to my mind when I read this story.

Oh no, the last line was just thrown in there as my regular cheap shot, no sarcasm intended.

I actually think this story is hilarious. I wish I could have read it while eating deep fried gator.
