Kids that can read are less likely to commit crime that ones who can't? MAN, what a bombshell that May dropped there.

He should do something to make dion talk. Dion's plan seems to be to say as little as possible.

"Yeah, red Lizzie, we cut a literacy program that didn't actually teach people to read"
Nice shot.

Yeah, I am taking it out of context but she said it. It was in relation the being 'tapped' as a resource to help with ######ed kids.

Maybe we should stop teaching reading, we're creating a new generation of brilliant super criminals.
Jack throws out the money again.
Jack . . . who's going to pay for that . . . jack?

I'm not sure what Harper's strategy behind that was. It's not going to save enough money to be useful for other purposes. I don't think that it's going to sway votes either for Mr. Joe Factory Worker. I don't think any blue collar workers are going to the bar and complaining about artists getting federal funding. It's baffling.

Probably not.
Though I think it's a good idea. One thing about funding the arts is that, compared to Health and other more necessary programs, it's not that expensive. There's no reason why we can't put a little in.

You've reached the post board email of CaptainCrunch, he's currently away from the board, but if you'll leave a message, he might get back to you.

Is Dion making a point? People should go to jail for less time? Mail theft should only result in house arrest?

But the Conservatives are investing in art, just not giving money to the individual artists.

Corporations, of course. Big, evil corporations. Tax them more. It will create a windfall for the federal government. And, somehow, taxing corporations will also create jobs.

So compared to last election, have the NDP thrown in the towel on trying to win liberal votes?
Seems like layton is all over harper - moreso then I remember at UFC 39. I suppose it's whatever strategy keeps a minority.

Yeah. Where would the U of C be without all that garish art hanging and standing everywhere?
But honestly, art is vital to culture. Calgary needs some badly. If Harper was smart, he'd have appropriated the general art fund and funnel it to some more commercially viable art fund (film industry) to create jobs.

Why the high percentage of inuit and indian kids in jail? They are criminals...
We should be lighter on them because they make up a higher percentage of population of the prison system??
