I'm getting the anti-homer vibe from you. Your pure dislike for Harper is visible.

Completely agree, beyond that Harper in the face of a 4-1 attack where the opposition can make things up on the fly has done a good job of staying calm and fighting on his tax record.
Harper says he's getting a bad rap and backed it up with actual NUMBERS not lose claims about censorship or climate controlled trucks.

The latter. The libs have been beat a bit with that stick as well in the past. All the leaders have to swear at the alter of crappy health care and then attack someone else for having ruined it or wanting to. It's a grand tradition.

I think he's blowing it terribly. To undecided voters, debate is more about your personality and how you convey your confidence and leadership than these issues that many folks have no idea what they actually are. What the heck is a reimbursable tax credit anyway? Territorial agreement?
Layton is throwing total BS out there and he's not getting called on it. He just claimed Harper is trying to censor the freedom of speech which is absolutely ridiculous. The moderator caught him that time but he's been doing it the whole night. Harper needs to call him out on that. Harper needs to fight back against these baseless claims of money to big banks and corporations and oil companies.
This is the televised debate. HE IS SHOOTING A COMMERCIAL and needs to be aware of that. That's largely what debates are.

Palin is cute, but when she started talking about tolerance while saying that she wouldn't support gay marriage she probably lost this debate.
She has no credibility

Only because she got to answer first. The moderator must have given her the first answer because he knew she was aware of the answer.

I'm not even watching the VP debate because I'm sure all of Palin's flubs will appear on youtube tomorrow. I flipped to it a few times and she was stumbling all over the place. It was almost Katie Couric interview - the second coming.

Weird thing about the arts funding is will it sway anyone's vote?
I'm not sure of this.

Harper needs to attack Dion on stalling and stopping their crime bill.
