Well, since I just encountered all of this an hour ago...

1. A cat preparing to puke
2. A cat puking
3. having to clean up after a cat pukes
4. listening to OTHER CATS clean up after the first cat
5. Stepping in cat puke.

Holy crap I can't believe someone else noticed this!

I was at the first preseason game and I very rarely walk inside to get to the dome. On my way there I mentioned to my friend that it smelled like old creamed corn or something and she called me crazy.

Poo - from anyone or anything but me.

I can't stand seeing dog poo on the lawn in parks, etc. Bird poop - disgusting - I would most likely hurl if a bird ever crapped on me, and I would need to shower in scalding hot water.

One of the worst incidents was when on a flight, we were waiting for them to open the door to let us off, some lady with a couple young kids was in the adjoining 2 seats (and 2 more on the other side of the aisle) and her little girl probably about 4 comes walking over to her (and me!) with hand outstretched... there's what I thought at the time chocolate all over her hand, face, front of her shirt... then mommy says "That's disgusting! Get that away!" and the poo hand is reaching closer to me... then the smell hits... OMG I almost completely lost it all right there, I was like "get me the **** off NOW!!!!!"

I don't use the bathroom in public restrooms, I will hold it until I get home... I am like "s***break" from American Pie... only urinals and #1 for me when out in public.

I cant handle vomit. The sound, the smell, the sight, all bad news.

Being in a public washroom while someone is dropping a deuce...

Slimy, grimy children. Children of almost any kind actually. It really took a while to get used to being a coach, sweaty children are pretty bad too.

I love the sound of crunching snow.

Yes I think this one tops my list as well....I pretty much cover my ears or start humming or something so I cant hear.

Obnoxious loud morons at restaurants and bars who insist on sharing their conversations with everyone nearby. Shut the hell up or at least keep it to your own table, ya smug s.o.b!

Stinky bike couriers, redolent with crusted days of sweat and riding up the elevator with you. Hey ya dreadlocked hippy, YOU SMELL LIKE CAT BUTT!

Close talkers - does the suppressed look of revulsion and my continual backing up not clue you in?

Ditto. And Jack Layton's grin, which makes me want to vomit.

Nail files: dear lord that is a terrible sound. I have to run out of the room/house/country

Now, to be fair, I don't have a gag reflex, never have--even when i see gross stuff mentioned above. I may not like it, but I don't feel like gagging.
But:
If i see someone hack a loogie, or a sidewalk oyster, I will gag. I have to walk and make sure I don't look on the sidewalk.

Extreme BO is f'n disgusting. The shipper/receiver at a place I used to work just stank. Everyday. His office stank, his whole work area stank, the forklift stank after he'd use it. F'n gross.
It's like he took on some poor hygiene regimen years ago and his body developed a stank that wont wash off. People like this make me gag. The guy in front of me in the Timmys line yesterday morning had "the stank". Ugh. It derails my whole day just being near someone who stinks, even for 5 minutes.

People biting their nails.

Everyone's flatulence/poo except my own.

The thought that girls poo (even though I know they don't).

Someone poking my belly button. (Prepare to get punched in the face if you ever do this to me)

I'm really surprised at a lot of what people mention but considering nobody has mentioned my most hair raising sound I guess I'm kind of a freak as well.

It absolutely drives me nuts when I hear the sound of paper towel, or napkins in those metal napkin holders some restaurants have, being pulled out of their containers. If I have to pull out paper towel in a restroom I will do it as fast as possible to avoid that sound as much as I can.

Maybe I'm a CMMB major or just extremely desensitized, but I have never even thought twice about some of the things that make some people on here cringe or gag.

I was in a lineup at McDonald's for breakfast a few years ago and the homeless guy who carves letters/symbols into his hands, etc was behind me. That was a really pleasant odour.
