Slightly OT, but how do you add music to your playlist so you can use songs in the game? Do you have to connect through a pc? I have music on a USB drive and an Ipod and while they would play fine normally, it wouldn't let me save the songs to the hard drive and put on a playlist, which the EA feature requires
No you just get to listen to this over and over until you go crazy...
LOL!!!!!
that made me laugh pretty hard.

Actually I just went through this headache yesterday. The only way I could figure out how to store music from my computer on my xbox was you have to burn an "audio Cd". If you just burn MP3's to a cd the xbox wont read it.
By the way if it helps anyone, I found a page on IGN, someone made a file of songs to put in the game. On the link below scroll down to the 12th posting there is a link, you can select then to download in winrar or winzip. http://boards.ign.com/nhl_ea_sports/b6062/170340310/p1/

Thanks for the custom soundtrack link, InSutterWeTrust. I'll give it a shot and see what songs that package has. I don't have a huge problem with the EA TRAX (or whatever EXTREME TO THE MAX name EA came up with for the game's soundtrack) but it gets a little repetitive having "WE ARE THE WARRIORS OF TIME!" beaten into my brain every few whistles.
I use TVersity to stream music and vids to my 360, thanks to this helpful post from Igottago. It's not that hard to set up - just read the FAQ for it - and so far, it seems to have less issues with detecting files on one of my network drives, loads files faster, and with less buffering.
As for the sound being so low, yeah...not much you can do about that, aside from using GoldWave or something to jack up the volume of your audio files, and turn up the arena music slider/turn down some of the others, as someone already mentioned. Even then, it can still be hard to hear, but that can be explained away (in my head, at least) by the fact that this is supposed to be a TV broadcast, of sorts...the music isn't going to be 100% clear.

Ya, thats what all the google searches came to. I was hoping for another way. Who owns audio Cds anymore??

I figured it out - if you are running a home network, just make playlists in your Windows Media Player, and the XBox will recognize them, AND let you insert them into your custom audio without having to copy songs to your HDD.
