I bet Tennessee 2.25 at Cinci, Giants for 1.40 at St.Louis just to get a third game and Green Bay 2.00 at Detroit. $10 bet won my $63. I can afford to pay tax on about $20 worth of goods in BC with these winnings.

Games that interest me this week:
CAR 2.75, DET 3.05, PIT - PHI TIE 3.40, CLE 2.75, DAL - GB TIE 3.40
$2 bet wins $533.28, but think I will narrow it down to three picks

New Orleans to tie in Denver wouldn't be a bad play. Last week the Bronco's showed that they can put up points...but they can give them up too, and Reggie Bush against the Bronco's Special teams would look to = lots of big plays to put the Saints in good field position. I'd be taking the over on that game myself. What type of value are they giving on Atlanta to beat KC out there? I can see Michael Turner running for a cool 200 yards against the Chiefs.

I don't like many of the games this week....going to try a ticket with all tie's this week.
ARZ-WAS TIE, CLE-BAL TIE, JKV-IND TIE
$2 bet - $82 payout.
EDIT: ATL is a 1,70 on pro-line and 4.5 point favorites on point spread.

What I always find most interesting is the differences in odds across the country.
Would regional favoritism account for this? I can't imagine what else would...
Goes to show odds are not necessarily dependant on who might actually win or lose, but where the money will fall as a result of where the lines are set.
I don't have wclc NFL numbers for this week in front of me.... but comparing the numbers Troutman posted to the Ontario ones ( http://proline.olg.ca/ ) there is some pretty drastic differences.... including an option in ON to double the winning margin (team must win by 8 or more instead of 4).
i.e. Det pays 2.70 there, compared to 3.05 here
PIT/PHI tie there is 3.10, here is 3.4
etc.
Strange....

Yeah, I'm having trouble picking games this week. I like Arizona to straight up beat Washington but that's about it.

I was thinking the opposite...Card's have always struggled on the road, and road games against NFC East teams this year are going to be hard for anyone to win. There usually isn't a lot of undefeated teams left after week 3.

I just don't think Washington has the firepower to match the Cards.

$2 3 game pick-2 (+all three)
CHC @ NYM (V=3.00) (zambrano)
NYY @ TOR (H=1.65) (Only because AJ owns the Yanks)
LAA @ SEA (T=2.95) (both suck at scoring runs, two good pitchers)
Any two break at least even, all three im lookin good.

Anyone want to make a bet the Rams go 0-16?

Make the bet they will or they won't? What's the wager?

^ I love the Rams, but this season they are worse than pathetic.
I don't see them winning, so I say they go 0-16. Give me 2 to 1 though?

I just don't see how they could go 0-16. Taking a look at their schedule they have ARZ, MIA, SEA & SF all at home and I could see them squeaking out a win with one of those teams.
Does anyone play Over/Under tickets?

I have played over under a bit, it can be a bit tough to predict. I'd say take over's whenever Denver, New Orleans, or San Diego is playing unless they set it to 65 or something crazy. Usually they don't put it much higher than 48.5.

Pisses me off because I always get screwed on one game. I usually pick 4 or 5 and no matter what I will miss just one.

2/3, at least on the 3 and 295. 18 on my 8. If only the stupid Blow Jays could score 4 runs in a ball game against a pitcher who has never won an MLB game, I would be up way more.
Every time I say this is the last time I bet on the Jays. Now who is pitching tonight?

Well this week I might avoid Denver and KC going over 46.5. The Chiefs offence is incapable of scoring more than 14 points against anyone...they're a good bet to put up single digits. Denver can put up points, but if the other team isn't scoring up a storm against them they might put it on Cruise and try to win the game like 31-7. The Chiefs are the one team in the league that Denvers defence can keep under 10 points.

This has happened to me many times. Last week is an example where all my other games were right, but Denver just couldn't cover the +3.5 spread.
