It's too bad the Chiefs didn't cryogenically freeze Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Willy Roaf, and Will Shields 5 years ago and bring them out for this year. The AFC West would put up offence that would make the AFL blush.
The Chargers and Bronco's are going to put up some points....they're also going to have to use those offences to win games.

Well the atmosphere at Arrowhead is slowly turning back into the dark times when the Chiefs were perenial celar dwellers and the stadium was less than half full.
If I had a chance to see an NFL game for only $100, I would do it in a second. Woudn't matter who was playing.

Never thought I'd see the day when J.T. O'Sullivan would be my starting fantasy QB...or that he'd be one of the main reasons for my victory this past weekend.

Thats how you win fantasy league's. Picking up good FA's for nothing. I won my league in the playoffs last year with Sage Rosenfells (spelling?) as QB.

Marc Bulger has been benched in favour of Trent Green. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3604491
And things in Raiderland are getting more screwed up weekly. After a Raider PR guy screamed at a reporter during a press conference yesterday, Kiffen called the reporter and apologized.
Quote:
Yep, Lane Kiffin got in touch with me just now to offer his personal apologies for the incident John Herrera initiated with me yesterday.
Can’t emphasize this enough: Kiffin had nothing to do with what Herrera did. Or with my response.
Kiffin acted responsibly. Kiffin was the one who reached out today.
I told Kiffin that he certainly didn’t do anything he needed to apologize for during yesterday’s hub-bub, but that I appreciated today’s gesture. I told Kiffin one thing I appreciated yesterday was that, when Herrera tried to cut off my question, Kiffin didn’t flinch and kept listening to my question and responded to it.
“We were trying to have a professional news conference, I think,” Kiffin said.

I think if Kiffen is fired, he'll be snapped up. Even though he has been the lamest of lame ducks, his team played hard the last 2 weeks and he has handled himself with nothing but class.

Saints OL Jamar Nesbit suspended for violation of drug policy:
http://www.neworleanssaints.com/Arti...4%20Games.aspx
The hits just keep on comin'...
I think Carl Nicks is a capable replacement, possibly a blessing in disguise.
What's happening in New Orleans is just crazy.

According to Sirius NFL Radio, Matt Millan is done in Detroit. I wonder what took so long?

The timing is kind of strange. Are they going to try hiring in the early/middle of the season?
Foxsports has more details.

The Giants have suspended Burress for a game, "for an undisclosed violation of team rules."

I wonder how long Romeo is going to last in CLE? Much more was expected.

I think Anderson is on a tighter leash than Romeo. 0-3 is bad, but if they show signs of improvement he should be ok. If they don't? Well who knows. Herm Edwards may be available.

Millen seems like a great guy and was a terrific football player and TV analyst...but his record is abhorrent.

No, it just provides hope for hope.
That's it. The team is still Millen's team, and it will take years to undo the "damage" done over his tenure. "Damage" because the team was pretty bad when he took over, so I don't know if he really made things worse, but he certainly failed to make any improvements.
So I wonder if this means someone finally broke into Millen's office and destroyed those photographs of the Ford family?
