So chapter three starts tonight. I didn't get into this show until about three weeks ago. Borrowed seasons one and two from my girlfriend and have been hooked since. I finished season two last Monday and have been waiting a full week for tonight. I watched last night's preview show and that was pretty uneventful.

As I didn't pay attention to this series at all when it debuted, was there any hype around this show? When did it start to pick up steam?

Apparently the writers had to ditch a complete storyline last season due to the strike. Anyone know what that storyline was supposed to be? A buddy of mine told me that there are a bunch of people giving out Sylar masks along 7th ave today.

There was SOME hype in the first season; that's about it. I watched the first episode in New Zealand last January, and was hooked.

Haven't gotten around to watching the 2nd season yet, but I don't want to watch tonight or any part of the 3rd season until I see the 2nd first.

Or, maybe I should just watch it and try to connect the (very far apart) dots.

I don't know, to me its going to be pretty tough to get back into hero's this year, last year was such a mess that any momentum was kinda lost.

There are too many T.V. shows with continuing story lines now that I'm going to have to cut some back from my must watch list.

That first season, though... and in particular, the first 10 episodes... wow. That was some good TV.

It was amusing to me that I was in Odessa Texas. I would tell people I was there to save the cheerleader.

I have pretty high hopes for this season. Rumour has it that Mark Grieg was actually happy the strike happened when he did because he realized that the 2nd season was starting to tank and saw Season 3 as his chance at redemption. I thought I heard somewhere that he actually apologized for Season 2 heh.

I am willing to give it another try to see if they can regain their form. They went way, way wrong last season, with all the same crud with Claire and her boyfriend over and over again. Just terrible. I am not excited about it at this point, but I am going to watch tonight and hope for the best. I hope it grabs my interest cause it really does have the potential to be great tv again.

Do yourself a favor and just skip season 2 all together. It was so bad the producer had to apologize.

I missed about half of the first episode, but "The Butterfly Effect" was pretty good...should be interesting how things develop with Present Peter being among the Villains. I hate that Suresh subplot, btw.

I know, T_B.. I was just funnin'.
It's Tim Krieg, and he is a hack. His main claim to fame before Heroes was Crossing Jordan.

The real talent behind Heroes season 1 was Bryan Fuller. He left to create and produce Pushing Daisies, which is a hell of a show. Just like his previous series Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me.

I came in about 40 minutes late and I have no idea what's going on. I must've forgotten how the last season ended, because most of this makes absolutely no sense.

I feel the same way, I understand what happened tonight, but for some reason I can't even link it at all too last season.
