Heh. Not the best game for my 9 to 9 squared hook-up, but they managed to win.

Class of the NFC east so far, I think.

Probably of the NFL.

I wasn't on board until tonight. Big win against a good team on the road. Always a good indicator of how good a team is.

I completely agree. The team just has very little holes, even in a game where TO is invisible. Romo played fairly pedestrian too, usually he's got those flashy stats, but not tonight.
And Felix Jones, dear lord, that was a fine run for the touchdown.

Frick, here I am gushing about another NFC team.

Syl and BBB....I have the opportunity to go to Arrowhead this coming Sunday to watch the Chiefs and Broncos. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to decline and watch from home.

I would say DAL and PHI are the class of the NFC. The AFC seems totally up for grabs. I think PIT and SD will play for the AFC Championship.

I don't think the AFC is as dominate as it was the past few years. Both leagues have some horrendous teams. For as much a joke as the NFC West has been/is, the AFC West is in the same boat. The Missouri teams are both horrible, both Bay teams look bad but can surprise the heck out of ya, SD/SEA are supposed to be good but so far they aren't, and DEN can score but needs a defense and Arizona can score (but not as well as Denver) but does have a steady defense (better than Denver).

I don't think you can say the Niners have turned the corner yet. Beating a team that missed it's top 3 receivers and then the Lions doesn't spell a Superbowl run. Next week at New Orleans will be a heck of a test, followed at home by the Pats and who knows what that team will look like, then at home against the Eagles (probably a loss, but should be a good measuring stick), then to the Meadowlands against the Giants. Realistically, those 4 should be 1-3 or 0-4. 2-2 would be the best that should be hoped for, but in a league where the Fins absolutely crush the Pats, who knows?

Price of gas that steep?

I would think a Bronco's fan would love nothing more than to see the Bronco's rack up 500 yards and 50 points against a hapless Division foe!

Have you been before? I'm sure the atmosphere in Arrowhead won't be that great this season. It would be fun if your cheering for the opposition. The tailgating at Arrowhead can't be beat.

Man did the Packers look average last night. Dont know if they played poorly or Dallas was just that good......but I know that Marion Barber is a beast and Romo is starting to become a very good QB.

The defense is what shocked me though...couldnt run on Dallas all night....as well as Rodgers getting sacked 5 times IIRC. That shows his inexperience ...simply cannot hang onto the ball that long and expect to get away with it. He did not, however, get picked off..... again....3 games no picks is a very good thing for a young starter.

Denver is just a scoring machine....fun to watch. And I agree with Bobble....it loks like the pendulum of power is much more in the middle than past seasons where the AFC dominated with probably 7 or 8 of the best teams in football. Much much more even up this year.

As long as you're in the same division as the Lions, you're fine.

My paper bag shouldn't even have eyeholes cause I'd rather not watch the Lions play. What a putrid team. It'll be week 7 before they actually get to run this newly devised "rushing offense" they keep saying they can't use because they start games down 2-3 TDs.

Frank Gore is a beast. The Cowboys definitely look like the class of the NFL right now. Hopefully they dont win it all though - cant stand TO, he doesnt deserve a championship.
