Well I thought I would post since Bulldog has already reached my price target. Four months early but I'm not going to complain.

LOL, I wish. I have a high % of my money in it but unfortunately that isn't a whole lot. But if Bulldog can keep growing at this pace, $5-8 is not out of the question for next year. Now that would help get me on the way to freedom 35.

I think that MOnster.com Nasdaq:MNST could be a nice longer-term pickup...

So far gold is up over $85 today,it could be the biggest one day gain in gold EVER.
Some are calling for $2000/ounce for gold in the next couple of years.
Gold stocks should do well,I like CFO.

Since this thread has been revived, I have a few stocks I would be interested in buying, and would like some to chime in on them. Firstly, anyone do this for a living and have any insite and/or opinion of when this drop will finally cease? Secondly, here are the stocks I'm interested in:
CDN:
PCA (Petro Canada) - some very seasonal trends, probably hold to about May or June next year and cash out, but a lot depends on the overall market. Hopefully this is the bottom or close to it.
SU (Suncor) - same principles as PCA, but with less trending.
RIM (Research In Motion)- Coming out with some good products (Storm/Thunder, Javelin, Niagara) in the next few months, and should make for some good cashflow and a further push to the consumer market. Probably dump by February.
US:
AAPL (Apple) - iPhone, next gen Macbooks, iPods, etc. Apple seems to always come out with some good products, and even though nothing is on the horizon yet, there's no reason to think they don't have something up their sleeves in the new year.
GOOG (Google) - Rumored O/S, Chrome, and of course the Android all make this an interesting play.
Basically, I guess there's really no way of knowing if this is the market bottom, but what do some of you think with regards to the overall market and if this is just an overration right now? I'm surely hoping it is, because I'm really getting edgy on holding off and not throwing my money at the above stocks.

Probalby all decent companies to get into, but what's with the time frames to cash out? Do you think that there's potential for these companies values to decrese at that point?
If so, why would you invest in a company that you believe has potential to decline?
If not, why cash out when you believe that the company still has growth potential?
