I can't wait for House tonight. The end to last season was amazingly good TV!
Yes!
I started getting back into shape for this season... I re-watched season 4 first, and now I've been re-watching seasons 1 and 2 in high def from iTunes.
Can't wait till tonight!
It's going to piss me off to have to deal with all the commercials, though. I hate regular television with the passion of a thousand suns. ><

Totally agree, having watched so many episodes of House on DVD, it's really disconcerting watching on regular TV.

That statement made me laugh for a bit :P If only because I totally understand it.
And yeah, watching normal TV rather then on DVD pisses me off. Couldn't stand watching Grey's Anatomy that way last year.
My wife made me watch Grey's Anatomy for the record. I will swear to that till the end of my days.
I have to admit, I've never understood what everyone loves about House. A grumpy doctor... What's the big deal? All the commercials about the season premier is about how we doesn't help a dying patient because he doesn't want his friend to resign. Kind of a weird storyline if you ask me.
Third episode of The Shield tonight had an outstanding conclusion!

For those wondering, I am pretty sure that the 2nd episode of the Shield was on Showcase tonight, despite the guide not saying it was a new episode. Can anyone confirm this?
Apparently I am now looking forward to seeing this 3rd episode conclusion!
Hmmm...well I won't spoil it for anyone that has not watched it yet, but the premiere of House potentially changes the forumula up too much, even for die hard fan like me.

I agree. But... (white below has spoilers)
I think that they'd get rid of a main character at the end of the season, rather than the beginning, so I don't think he'll be gone. Maybe just gone from the hospital for a while. If he is gone, I hope they focus on Cuddy and House, because that is all they have left!
Can anyone fill me in if I missed anything in House...the PVR stopped taping before the end. So all I caught is below in white:
Wilson had just gone on his speech about how losing Amber taught him to take care of himself and that he should have been on the bus or House should have been on the bus alone. He then started to pick up his box, and that's all I caught.

I don't think that's where it's going.
But I think they will draw that dynamic out until a solution is reached.
They sure put a ginormous wedge in there though didn't they? The last lines of the episode dropped my jaw.....and I think House's jaw too.
