Alright, so at the end, aftter John puts her chip back in and gives her the gun. On her scanning screen, it initially says terminate, but then switches off.


So is that the terminator overriding her programming? Or did John actually fix the chip that had been compromised?

And so very cool to see the T-1000 again. Although I will not talk to myself while taking a leak anymore.

Neither. The explosion messed up her programming, and eventually it reverted back to it's original programing. I believe during the entire time Cameron was chasing John she was trying to bring herself back to 100% working conditions, and when that eventually happened she was her normal self.

On the other hand the huge jolt from being smashed between two semi's could have had the same effect the original explosion did, thus jumbling her system again and correcting it.

Like Thor said above, the override program kicked in, which leads me to believe it was "fixed".

I love it.

That was a pretty cool moment. I fully, 100%, expected it to come up as "protect". I think the turn of Cameron was expected at some point in the series, but so soon, so quickly into the 2nd season was a shock. Smart idea though IMO.

Did anyone find it funny that the bad terminator posed as a urinal. I wonder how many guys peed on her while she waited for what she was looking for. She could have posed as a mirror or a door or something. Maybe she likes getting peed on... which might take this thread in an entirely inappropriate direction.

In season one I know that Cameron burns a terminator but takes out the "chip" What ever happened to that chip.

I think the Summer Glau comments of "I love you John" as a technique to trick her as well as the open ended method of switching the terminate command off lead me to believe that emotions are going to be one of the main themes but the biggest clue I think is the comment when the T-1000 gets "the turk" and does her monolouge about traffic lights and how it is rare to "find a computer that will cross against the light"

It is still going to be an awsome show though and the urinal scene at the end was amazing

Derek found it in her room (it's the one John hooked up to his computer to learn about the whole traffic camera system). I don't remember if they ever destroyed it after that.

Cameron and Sarah take the initiative to investigate a nuclear power plant. Meanwhile, John loses interest in academics, but becomes more popular at school with a new friend's help.

i think where the show will eventually lead and what will need to happen for John Conner to toughen up will be Sarah's death. she's his shield for all the rough stuff that happens to them, if she's gone then he'll have no one to turn to and will have to grow a pair quick or be killed

Last nights episode was okay, not great. It seemed way too rushed though, too many things happening way too quickly.

yeah, last night wasn't great, but it had some good moments. But after the first episode of season 2 being so damn good, episode 2 was always going to be a letdown.


now, I know this show is science fiction and I can't take anything seriously, but what kind of a security guard in a nuclear power plant carries a huge machine gun like the one Sarah grabbed. Although, when Sarah took him down, that was pretty sweet.

Not a big deal, but it bothered me a little. Not the machines, not the time travel......the security guards choice of gun.

They're really pushing the whole Cameron is broken not trustworthy angle.

And what kind of guy gets a hot girl in his room and then lets her sleep on the floor.

If this is the John Conners that the head of the resistance then blow up the world now.
