BYU pounding on UCLA...42-0 at half. i think that they want to prove that they're better than the washington game.

And the way Roper is throwing today, Harper may be moving up the depth chart sooner rather than later. Just brutal.

I don't really know that much about him, I just remember him being prolific in the city league here....and he did throw the ball some. I also remember the K-State fans crying when he decommitted!

I didn't realize he was the type of prospect that could come in and play right away, even if it is in a relief/situational role.

Heck, Harper wasn't even the best prospect in the city league last year. That would be Arthur Brown who is playing at Miami. I haven't looked to see how he's doing.

I'll be rooting for Harper.

I e-mailed TSN about College Gameday, asked if it could be put back on TSN2 or whatever. I loved watching that on Saturday afternoons. Stupid Score, needing to put more Eastern Serbia Annual Poker Open on TV. Jerks.

Well, here's how much faith they've got in Harper: in overtime, Roper's injured and now Harper is in as the QB with a chance to win it.

edit: and after a sack on his first play, putting together a drive for a TD to win!

further edit: Roper's out 2-4 weeks (to go along with Costa's season ending injury over the summer), so Harper's going to get a lot more playing time. He went from being 5th on the QB depth chart to now being a potential starter next week. I don't think he's actually replaced Masoli as #2 on the depth chart, but he was the guy in overtime today because with Oregon needing just a field-goal to win, they were going to go conservative and stick to running plays.

fresno lost by a field goal to the badgers. tough loss in a massive game for the program. BYU enede up hammering UCLA 59-0, that's a drubbing.

Yup, it really sucks for USC: if they run the table on the PAC 10, they'll get no credit for it, and if they lose to any of these teams, they'll get pasted in the rankings. All it'll take is an Oregon loss to Boise next week, and USC could run out the remainder of the season without playing another ranked team.

			Big Games this weekend:

9/18
#21 WVU at Colorado: I picked this as my upset special before the season began, things have changed a bit. This has become a must win for West Virginia to keep sanity in Morgantown...

9/20
#9 Alabama at Arkansas: Nicknamed the "Weasel Bowl." Saban vs. Petrino. Bammer may have a say in the SEC West.

#4 Florida at Tennessee: Stranger things have happened folks! Games like this are why SEC teams rarely go undefeated. I have a feeling "Rocky Top" will not have enough for the Gators in the end.

#18 Wake Forest at #24 Florida State: How in God's name did FSU end up ranked again? Wake by 2 TD's...

#6 LSU at #10 Auburn: Game of the year so far, since OSU/USC was such a dud (OSU not living up to expectations, shocker, I know). Auburn beat Mississippi State 3-2 last week, LSU is not Mississippi State. The home team has won every game since 2000, look for LSU to end that streak on the Plains. First team to 10 points wins!!! #3 Georgia at Arizona State: This game would have had a lot more drama if ASU didn't overlook UNLV last week. ASU fell from #15 to straight out of the top 25 with that loss. UGA rolls by double digits.

I-AA (FCS)

UC-Davis at Montana: While Montana State schedules teams like Kansas State and Minnesota, Montana, or "The U" as their arrogant, unknowledgeable fans like to call themselves, continues to schedule cream puff non-conference opponents.
Montana can suck it...but they win this one.

well, oregon scored 19 in the 4th, but it was too little too late vs. boise state.
And BYU outscoring opponents 103-0 over the past 2 games. yeesh.
