Just went down to HMV in TD Square and was told that their shipment got delayed, and they'd have it either later today or tomorrow. He also said that if I went anywhere else, including another HMV, that they would have it.

Just picked mine up at EB games @ Sunridge. The guy there was saying every EB in the city put NHL 09 out this morning !!! Go get yers !!!
PS3 version, i got... but they did have 360 copies.

I wish i still worked in calgary so I could go pick up a copy during lunch
guess Ill have to wait till after work
how much did it cost through EB games? I remember last year I picked up NHL08 on the wednesday at EB and it was 69.99, where as if i waited the extra day for futureshop and bestbuy I coulda got it for 59.99

i feel your pain man. i played nhl 08 on both ps2 and pc... but i decided a few weeks back that i was going to get a next gen system so i could really enjoy nhl09... best decision i have made. if you got the cash to spare, go for it!
