As most of you know, I had an awesome time this weekend! For those that weren't there, don't believe the rumours.
Thanks for putting it on shawn!
All day today my body was telling me that I shouldn't be sobering up. I'm now showered and well feed so I'm feeling fine.

Fixed. This kid was a mess all weekend.
Mostly in a good way. But sometimes just not at all in a good way.
Thanks to Shawnski for throwing such an awesome tourney and for allowing us into the league this year. Hope we can field at least one team in this league again next year!
As for the rivalry between Central and SW... how does everyone feel about a game on the weekend next Saturday, as in the 13th, at about 12:30ish...
If this weekend doesn't work for most people, I am good for almost any weekend but just not the 27-28th.
We were thinking about meeting somewhere half-decent centralish, and then going for the after party at Pete's. Sound good? Of course, anyone is welcome to come out, including part time subs, friends, family (kerplunk please bring your family), and whoever you can convince to come out. Make sure to invite everyone you can!

To TU's credit, he went harder than most on Friday night and continued it through our first game at 8:30 (thanks Shawnski). Not to mention that he started out something ridiculous like three for three and caught a fly ball in left field without even putting his beer down.
On the other hand, when it's better to just throw out your pillow and tent at the end of the weekend than try to clean them...
Thanks for the great time, Shawnski. My family sure had a blast and I think everyone else on the team certainly did too. I have some great video of KG getting down on the dance floor too.

This weekend is not good for me. We're also out of town from the 19th to the 30th so unless there's a dome we can play under, I'm probably out for the Clash of the CP Titans.

Well I'm glad you made it home alright! Team lunch at BPs probably helped.

And lucky for him there are no soiled pants pics floating around on the internet (SW has us beat there, I suppose). Although when you drop your pants in front of two women, the last response you probably want is uncontrollable laughter.

In all seriousness, does anyone here have experience with elbow injuries? I've had some recurring pain since about halfway through the season, mostly on the inside of my arm above the elbow. It seems to get better with rest but all it takes is one good throw and it goes again. It hurts so bad I want to throw up and I can't feel my fingers for a little while. But then it goes away and I keep playing.
Are there any braces or whatnot that might help?

I bet there is some good animated gif possibilities in that film.
Had a good time. Tired and sore as hell today still though. Thanks Shawn for all your hard work, we all really appreciate it. And thanks Heather for being captain this year.

fredr123, that doesn't sound good bud. I have a few on our team that have elbow issues too, but perhaps not to that extent. What they were is a strap around the forearm, which seems to alleviate much of their discomfort.
And BTW, WE had an 8:30 game too!
Glad you and the others had a good time. I told you all at the start of this thread that we DO have a fun league, and the Lyalta/Drumheller tournaments are a lot of fun. Yes, it is a lot of work to prep for it, but seeing everyone have a blast and smiles all around is definitely worth it to me.
And Resolute, I only hooked up half of my light system! Ran out of time to try to get the overhead trussing set up which would have allowed me to hook everything up. Oh well, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't the full show either. But at least we never blew any circuit breakers... right FireFly?

I'll have to give one of those braces a try.
Man, there's no way in hell I'm missing either Lyalta or Drum next year. Those weekends are going to be blocked off in my calendar as soon as the dates are confirmed. Big props to you Shawnski.

Don't forget Cowboy won something too. He's probably sitting at home playing with himself as we speak.
