Just curious...would the fact that a woman is a phone sex actress (or whatever you want to call it ..) influence your decision to date her? I guess the real question is would you consider her an actress or a "slut"?

Inconsistent with a personality I'd like.
She fakes everything all day, and I'm supposed to believe she's genuine toward me? I wouldn't trust a word she tells me (dirty talk or otherwise).

Not sure if it would bug me from a romantic point of view...

It wouldn't bother me in itself, but if she was really flirty by nature outside of work combined with that, it might bother me.

What if you were dating Elisha Cuthbert...hmmm.......Actually it probably would be determined by the rest of her behavior, wouldn't it? Why should it be any different than dating a "legitimate" actress? I mean if she was always hitting on your friends or acting sleazy in public that would be different.

Yeah and I'm sure no boyfriend would complain about the pay. Anyway the screenwriter of the movie Juno is in her 20s and supported herself that way while writing. `I can't see guys who SERIOUSLY date porn actresses. I have a hard time with that. The porn biz is huge down here, so many of the girls are gorgeous and I know some who are in MENSA. I'm not sure the low-self-esteem theory applies so much to porn actresses anymore. Maybe exhibitionism... I still wouldn't do it, (porn) . It just interesting to see how many "nice guys" go out with exhibitionist girls. I think of our Panthers Ice Dancers...the one girl likes to fold the waistband of the bikini bottoms down so they're lower..she has more dates than I ever will I guess!!! And none of the guys near her are paying much attention to the game!!!

I think I could date a girl who did this, but I'd have to think twice about it, and it has nothing to do with jealousy or thinking she was a slut or anything like that. I think it would just be difficult for me to understand just why she would want to work a job like this. It is a pretty yicky thought Grunt. But on a more imaginary level (since being in public makes it inappropriate ) isn't that kind of what goes on in a guys mind when he looks at me? Were Stumpfel and VanRyn wondering where I got my purse when I'd stand by the glass and they'd act like they'd never seen a girl before? I'm kinda not okay with THAT either, especially knowing they're married. Also I'll never forget my ex-boyfriends porn stash!!! I'm always being told not to let that upset me, boys will be boys... it is a difficult issue for me. In other words...I guess I can't avoid being vulgar here...I'm supposed to think it's just fine for my boyfriend to satisfy himself while looking at pictures of other women. This is nothing against you but there seems to be a double standard here again! Also why do you work any job....love or money..this is money!!!!!

Never had a good experience with a girl who strayed into those types of jobs...i usually just stay away...in my experience there were other deep seated issues with the person...but that is just my experience and a small sample size

Do you think some of it is hatred of men? My issue is with women I think lol...anyway to me it would be just acting. I truly believe it depends on the individual.

I dated a stripper back in my college days. I didn't really have a problem with what she did, and trust wasn't really an issue either... but, well, after a while the whole thing just got old, you know?

Maybe if she was just doing it to put herself through school or something, but she was pretty content with that being her career. Again, it wasn't so much what she did, it was more the overall scene. Late nights, parties, etc etc.

I just couldn't see myself keeping up with that lifestyle forever. It's not like I was a wealthy rockstar or something.

A "legit" actress is based on pretending to be someone else and maintaining the suspension of disbelief of an audience.
This line of work is based on bald-faced deception on a personal level.

in my case, it was lack of a father figure. Diff not a hatred...she worked at a bikini bar and did private dancing for older men..who showered them with money and took them out for nice dinners....

just a bad scene for me in general.
