It's still pretty pathetic that through three quarters they only have 2 TD's against a Chiefs team that would be in tough against some top NCAA teams. I don't think Cassel has had anyone even get a finger on him today, though. So maybe the Pats are just going easy in this one.

As for the Chiefs, you can see that they have a decent defense, but they are really hurting offensively. No punch from the offensive line AT ALL.

Steelers off to a hot start today. 35-3 so far over the Texans, and Roethlisberger 13-14, and the Steelers running the ball well.

It's hilarious how many experts have relegated the Steelers to the wild card or even have them out of the playoffs with the darling Browns rising to supremacy in the North. Not going to happen.

Seahawks are going to have a long season. Now Burlelson hurt, the only receiver the finicky and sometimes one dimensional (still after 9 years in the league) Hasselbeck was throwing to today.

Defense will be ok, but offense is going to have trouble putting up points.

Yeah. Their defense has looked good today. I know Brady isn't out there, but they've still done a good job and are making good decisions.

Ha ha Cassel made Thomas look silly there lol

How did they get to the NWE 5? My TV mysteriously changed from football to a House marathon when my wife got home!

Man, if Dwayne Bowe could hang onto the football, maybe the Chiefs could have really scared the Patriots. Dude dropped like 5 balls today, which IMO is unacceptable for a guy who is your so called number one receiver.
Gutsy effort though today, I know the Chiefs have to take their lumps this year but they competed hard, and thats all I can really hope for from this group.

Great early set for my fantasy teams.
Michael Turner and Brian Westbrook were my RB duo in both of my leagues!

Glad I was able to save the Pats in the survivor pool too. The Eagles came through against a team that will rival the Chiefs this year IMO.

I hope Cincinatti comes back to beat Baltimore. How do you lose to a team starting Joe Flacco this early in his career?

By cutting a bunch of your own starters to make the 53 man roster |

So close by the Dolphins, if the Jets are as good as people say they are then I am not to dissapointed with today's result.
The dolphins basically beat themselves by making too many mistakes.

Yeah, I guess.

I did pick Baltimore in the pick 'em pool, but that was before I knew Flacco was starting. He was god awful in preseason.

Some things never changeThe Lions still suck..
The Bengals are just as bad..how do you lose to a team with a 3rd string rookie qb and a backup no name running back?!?
The Ravens would win the superbowl if they had a decent qb
The Seahawks have no run game

Man that Titans defense was beastly today and they needed to be. Young threw some terrible balls today and the receivers did nothing to get open.
