Swing Kids. That is my response to your statement. Nazis and swing music.
In all seriousness, last years House season finale was one of those "if you didn't at least almost tear up you clearly have no soul" moments. My wife was a blubbering mess sitting next to me all the while I'm thinking "keep it together old boy!"
Yes it is formulaic to the point of funny, but they manage to throw in some twists here and there. It's like Oasis circa 1998 ... sure it's the same old thing, but at least the formula that's being followed is awesome.

Doctor Who series 4 premieres in Canada on the CBC September 19.
Torchwood series 2 premieres on Space some time this month as well, not sure of the date.

The premier of The Shield was amazing. Nothing really special to add, if you're into it you know. Final season should not dissapoint.

Man that show kicks so much ass.

Note that it has been renewed for 39 more episodes, counting this season. I would guess it will be 3 seasons of 13 episodes each.
Given the long run it will have, its probably worth catching up on it if you havent seen it.

Unforunately, anybody who is a fan of these shows has probably already seen them entirely via the BBC or downloading it online. I don't understand why the CBC always delays until the season/series is actually over. Is it part of their contract? CBC used to have a collaboration/producer credit for these shows.

That's awesome news. I watched the first episode yesterday a la bit torrent and it was spectacular. It started off with a bang and it didn't let up. Such a good show.
Do you have a link showing the Showcase is carrying the new season??? I can't find it anywhere. Im not an HD guy yet, so this news would be good for me if they were carrying it on the regular Showcase. If not, looks like I'm driving to my brothers place every Tuesday night.

Regular Showcase airs 3 hours after ShowcaseHD... at least that's how it works in Alberta.
