Saw them in Vancouver on Wednesday night...great, great show. Amazing energy from start to finish, the crowd loved it, and Liam and Noel were well behaved. The new songs were pretty good too.

Tomorrow I see the last band on my "gotta see these bands before they implode" list. Of all the bands to leave last I probably left the most volatile. very excited for this one!

I saw them in Edmonton last night and will be in Calgary tonight to see them again!

I got 2 tickets in floor row 2 off eBay days before the Edmonton show, and it was just MEGA. Oasis is my favorite band and I have waited for 10 years for them to come here, They didn't disappoint! Set list was awesome with a good mix of old and new, and Liam's Voice was in tip top form. To top it all off the Edmonton crowd was unbelievable! Liam muttered during the encore, WE are definitely coming back here, I like this place (or something to that effect).

Since I like calgary WAY more then edmonton (being from red deer, and of course being a flames fan) I hope the calgary crowd blows the SOCKS off the edmonton crowd tonight.

Cheers!

Ps. THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL.....

Note: If you want to check out a couple good sites for setlist, videos, and fan reaction these are the ones to visit, IMHO.

How did it work timewise?

Is there just the one opening act?

How long was it between the 'concert start time' and the 'Oasis start time'?

Thanks!

Claeren.

I can't say for sure but 99% of all shows at the dome start between 9 and 10pm for the main act.

Usually for a 7pm show the opening act(s) start between 730 and 8pm.

Just got back from the show. The sound was amazing. Dont Look Back In Anger was done acoustic and really well. Morning Glory rocked. The new stuff was good. A few beefs I have. Oasis didnt play for very long (about an hour and a half) and the opening band played for wayyyyyy too long. Tehyre set was almsot as long as Oasis. The band was good but at some point its like "Ok we all payed to see Oasis so if you could leave the stage that would be nice"

MattyC,

I saw the concert in Edmonton the previous night and the set list was EXACTLY the same(Which I humbly don't mind!). I noticed also that ryan adams played for nearly the exact same time as oasis in BOTH shows. I was more impressed with oasis in calgary mainly due to the fact that they seemed to enjoy it a bit more and had more communication with the audience. Anyways a GREAT show 10/10 and I hope the come back in a couple years.

Got to love Liam's little quips to the crowd, does anyone know what he was talking about?? What an accent, along with zero effort to overcome it for our benefit! It was like Brad Pitts gypsy character from the movie Snatch!

Just hope you pick out one word each time that lets you know roughly what he is trying to get at...

Decent show though. I wasn't BLOWN AWAY or anything, but it was good.

I am not a huge huge Oasis fan either though, for me listening to their songs are more about memories of childhood....

Thanks for the vids from Vancouver, they're awesome. Really enjoyed the show last night ... they really are solid live. No frills or tricks really, they just play solid tunes and they play them well. Don't Look Back in Anger was right up there with the Foo's Everlong a few years back for my favorite concert performance. I've never heard it played that way and it really suited the song well.

I didn't really have a hard time with the length of either set. Oasis still played roughly 18 songs and that's all that really matters to me.

8/10. Performance was probably about 8.5 with a 7.5 for the setlist. I was disappointed they didn't play anything from be here now, but after reading wikipedia and how Noel basically thinks that album is dogshinguard it probably explains why they ignored it.

Liam is terrible, he slurs and whines his way through everything and I know that's their sound so I didn't mind it, but all of the Noel songs just goes to show how much more talented he is then his brother.

Don't Look Back in Anger was an epic performance...easily the best of the night.

pretty solid show. definitely worth it, the tunes off of what's the story (morning glory) were by far the best of the night IMO. it was made all the better that everyone was so into the band and the show. good stuff.

Well I really really enjoyed it. Honestly I think they sound better live than on a cd. Just awesome. Then the visual stuff...wow that was cool. Wish they'd have played longer but what can ya do...And yeah The Cardinals played for a little longer than I would have liked but it's not like they weren't good. I quite enjoyed them actually.
