Solid win for the Stamps, a little more finish in the red zone and this is a blowout. Thinking out loud, is Copeland finished? Seems like the guy struggles to get open, and was blown up on his blocking assignments. Nice job by Cortez, using Reynolds, and actually using the deep ball to back off the linebackers. It was great effort by both lines as well, both de's were fantastic.

Yeah it could have been a blowout if we scored TD on the red zone.
I think Copeland will still play until the end of the season here in Calgary then Stamps might let him and Ryan Thelwell go. I like Copeland but he hasn't play well this season so far. He dropped passes that is catchable but he does some little things like blocking well though. Well, except for that penalty he got on illegal block.
Stamps did a good job establishing run early. That's what I don't understand last season or even before that on why we have one of the best RB in the league and they don't use him much. I can't wait for the Labour Day Classics. I say this year, we will win back-to-back.

Wasn't he offside? (if you're talking about the play I'm thinking about, 4th q).

Can't CGY decline the penalty, and accept the result of the play - out of bounds? Turnover on downs. Instead, BC got another shot.

Yes, it should have been reviewed, as Simon was out of bounds, then Calgary would have declined the penalty to get the ball.

I guess it all worked out in the end

What I don't get is when Calgary got the ball there, they didn't snap the ball with 1 second left on the play clock on second and third down. After the punt back to BC, BC could have had only 35 seconds left, instead of 50, solely by the Stamps running down the play clock. TERRIBLE coaching.
